THE NOISE FROM ABOVE:
We do our best to keep quiet! Since your sanctuary is right below our main living area, you might occasionally hear the rhythmic thumping of polite elephants walking, or a muffled laugh. It’s just us living our lives! If we ever get too rowdy, please don’t hesitate to shoot us a message.

THE GREAT OUTDOORS:
You’re on 25 acres and it is very likely you will see deer, maybe the occasional turkey or fox, and possibly a dog, or two! Don’t be alarmed! We do keep our pets safe and secure but do let them run briefly each day. We are considerate of our guests and will do our best to ensure our pets do not interfere with your relaxing getaway!

HEATING & COOLING:
Stay perfectly comfortable with hands-free climate control by simply asking Alexa to adjust the temperature for you.

We had a wonderful stay. The space is perfect for a family with younger kids. The toy corner was a huge hit. Everything was just as described.

The stay was perfect! It's a beautiful space. The owners thought of everything, and had amazing personal touches that made the stay relaxing. We loved that we were close to Westmoreland State Park and Montross for activities. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

Randall and Erin are the BEST hosts we've encountered during our 9-month road trip. Their hospitality is unmatched. The property is clean, big, and comfortable. While technically a basement, the dining area and kitchen are very bright with the full-size window and glass door. And, the entire unit has high ceiling. There are many details throughout the unit that we appreciated - all the helpful signages on the walls, the tasty well water, the yummy snacks in the welcome basket, the super powerful hair dryer, the comfortable bed, and more. Outside, the land is so peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, watching the field, drinking coffee/tea, watching sunset and stars, and listening to the birds. On our last day, our host even introduced to a peacock that visits their property daily. What a treat! The host family lives right above us but we barely hear anything. Nearby there are many nice areas within 20 miles - the Westmoreland State Park, Clonial Beach, and Stratford Hall (which is less than 5 mins away). Great hosts, great location, and great experience. TOP rated.

It's difficult to imagine a more perfect rental. The location is spacious and everything we needed or could have needed was thought of before hand by the hosts. The host was gracious and responded very quickly to messages through the Vrbo app. We plan on staying here again.

Great space for my weekend stay. The owners are very communicative. My kids loved the toy kitchen and other toys. Perfect location by the state park, and not far from Colonial Beach. I would definitely stay again!
