The “Oberharzruhe” vacation home, specifically the “Tannenblick” maisonette apartment, accommodates up to 7 people in a spacious 159 m² setting. It is located on the outskirts of the climatic health resort of Benneckenstein, in the Oberharz region near the Brocken, in a quiet setting directly along the Mountain Meadows Nature Trail.

You enter the first floor at street level through a covered entrance; a hallway leads to a large, light-filled living and dining room (38 m²), a modern kitchen, a shower room, and an utility room (with a washer and dryer, operated via a coin-operated machine).

A large balcony with ample seating and a large table is available.

A staircase leads to the upper floor (without sloping ceilings), where you’ll find another bathroom (with a bathtub), three bedrooms
(1st bedroom: 2 x Ruff beds, each 120 x 200 cm, with electric slatted frames,
2nd bedroom: 1 double bed (W=180 cm) with a toddler bed (70 cm x 140 cm),
3rd bedroom: 1 bunk bed with sleeping space for 3 people) and a play area.

In the basement, an additional apartment for 2 people can be booked.

Next to the vacation home (next to the garage), a small footpath leads directly to the Bergwiesen Nature Trail, a 5 km-long themed circular hiking trail with scenic views that is also suitable for ski touring in winter. The Brocken (accessible via a narrow-gauge railway), a toboggan hill with a ski lift, and numerous hiking trails and cross-country ski trails await you.

Parking is available right next to the house. In case of snow and icy conditions, only the public parking lot, located approximately 600 meters from the house, may be suitable for parking.

Please note: In case of snow and icy conditions, the landlord will not clear the access paths. The necessary equipment and materials are available to tenants. Therefore, tenants are responsible for clearing the access paths themselves. The landlords assume no responsibility for any accidents that may occur as a result.

Allergy sufferers will feel at home in our smoke-free house. Pets are not allowed!
Shopping options (MP-Markt and Netto, bakery), restaurants, a physical therapist, and a general practitioner are available in town.
