Since Trichtingen is located between the Heuberg and the Black Forest, we have designed the bedrooms accordingly.

The Black Forest room is mostly made of wood. Plain and simple, quiet and spacious, with a comfortable double bed (200x180cm). Upon request, we provide a baby crib and high chair free of charge.



The hay mountain room with wooden bed (200x180cm) reflects the rural coziness and rural romance.



In the living room you can comfortably relax from your excursions. We have games for children and adults, TV and radio, so nothing stands in the way of a pleasant evening.



The kitchen is equipped with small infrared oven, induction plates, coffee maker, toaster, and dishwasher. The pink refrigerator is a tribute to the 50s.



The bathroom has a large shower and toilet. Another toilet is outside the apartment still at your disposal. Towels and soap are available.

You are welcome to cook your dinner on our kettle grill. Our large wild garden offers plenty of space, your children can harvest wild strawberries or pick apples, grapes or plums depending on the season. Add some sage or rosemary to the barbecue or refresh yourself with homemade lemon balm tea.



Enjoy the quiet murmur of the little brook that flows past our garden. In the evening the busy village is quiet and you can end your day at a long table or in a sheltered corner, with candlelight and a glass of wine or beer.

Next door the beautiful, venerable town hall and the other historic half-timbered houses are impressive. Not for nothing Trichtingen was considered the most beautiful half-timbered village. All around there rise wooded mountains, orchards and rural fields.



The Heuberg is a kind of large table mountain with partly 1000 m. High altitude landscape, interrupted by steep valleys. Hikes along the edges, called Albtraufe, are interesting, they sometimes result in breathtaking views into the distance and into the valleys.



The Black Forest on the other side with its dark forests, lively bubbling brooks and touristically developed villages invites to forest bathing or sightseeing.



On both sides and along the Neckar there are varied hiking and biking trails. Around Trichtingen you will find ancient towns like Rottweil, Sulz, Hechingen, which were already settled in Roman times. There are monasteries like in Alpirsbach and in Oberndorf, castles, ruins and museums in great variety. Children are also catered for. A trip to the wild boars in Dietingen or visiting the mini half-timbered village and then pedal boating on the reservoir in Schömberg is always fun.



You can experience something else every day. We will be happy to help you plan your vacation time.



Several restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets can be found in max. 10 minutes by car (5-8 km).

Parking spaces are available on the property, we also offer a lockable room for your bicycles. A bus stop is located directly in front of the house. Pets are not allowed.



"Offline is the new Luxury". We do not offer W-LAN. Enjoy the time with your partner-in, children or friends.

Most guests have enjoyed this freedom. - If it doesn't work at all- you will find hotspots in 5 minutes distance at Aldi and Lidl in Oberndorf.

The "Kanne" is a historic inn with two vacation apartments, in the middle of Trichtingen.



The building was destroyed by a bombing shortly before the end of the 2nd World War and rebuilt in 1946 as an imposing half-timbered house.



The guesthouse is not yet in operation.



Inside as well as outside, the house was lavishly and carefully restored between to preserve as much of its original state. Due to the natural building materials wood, lime, gypsum, hemp and linseed oil, it offers a very pleasant and healthy living environment.



Set back in time, it should delight our guests who appreciate the "good old days". We were able to preserve almost all of the old plank floors and doors with their original door handles, as well as the original paneling in many rooms.



The old shutters add an Italian lightness on hot days. Even the spacious staircase still bears witness to the wealth of the builder. Some steps creak and groan with delight and some floorboard, that's part of it. Nothing is quite straight and perfect, time has left its mark and we are proud of it.
