This five-star vacation apartment offers you everything you need for your most precious time of the year—a vacation with the highest level of comfort—exclusive, just like its unique location in one of the most beautiful spots in the Vulkaneifel: on the shores of the Gemündener Maar, in a secluded setting. Pure romance. At night, you’ll be completely alone and can hear the calls of owls. The vacation rental is located on the upper floor of the only building on the Maar. The property has been completely redesigned, renovated, and partially restored. The KuliMaarik restaurant is located on the first floor.

The entryway features a coat rack and a closet—here you can hang your jackets or wet hiking clothes. Two shoe cabinets are available for your shoes. You can use the provided bench to get dressed comfortably. This is the perfect place to store your luggage and bicycles during your stay.
With a living area of approximately 130 m², the apartment features a total of 5 rooms, a large kitchen, a guest restroom, a coat closet, and a spacious bathroom. It is divided into 2 bedrooms, 1 dining room, 1 living room, and 1 sauna room. When redesigning the apartment, we placed great emphasis on living comfort to meet the highest standards. Each room was designed with its own color scheme—painted or wallpapered—and some feature new wood-look vinyl flooring. Some elements are surprising and have a unique feel. The cabinets and sideboards are made of pine, mango, or maple wood. At the three-meter-long, height-adjustable dining table—crafted from solid wood—you can enjoy not only culinary delights but also game nights. The benches in the dining room, as well as the reading chair with a footstool in the living room, are made of leather and cowhide. The living room features a sofa bed (sleeping area: 128 cm x 223 cm). A soundbar ensures excellent sound quality. You can enjoy sunny days on the balcony overlooking the Maar or on the partially covered south-facing terrace with a view of the greenery. Garden furniture with comfortable cushions is provided for your use. You can cool off in the large natural pool right outside the front door or take a ride on a pedal boat. After a hike or bike tour—or simply to unwind—you can relax your muscles in our infrared cabin. The bathroom is a true oasis of well-being: under the rain shower, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the Maar, or you can relax in the bathtub. In the bathroom, you can play your playlist via Bluetooth through the speakers built into the lights.
The kitchen offers much more than the standard amenities. While preparing your meals, you can also play music through the speakers in the kitchen light via Bluetooth. There are two bedrooms in total—a small one with access to the balcony and a fantastic view of the Maar, and a larger one with a wonderful view of the countryside. Both bedrooms have a smart TV and free Wi-Fi access. The bedrooms, as well as the dining and living rooms, are equipped with blackout pleated blinds or curtains. Parking is available on-site and does not need to be reserved.
