The Space:

Calablanca Residences on Isla Barú is a sea-facing three-bedroom apartment inside a gated coastal community, and it gives your group exactly what a Caribbean escape should: room to breathe, a building full of amenities, and the beach under five minutes away on foot - without ever leaving the complex.



The space

The apartment sits within a gated community right on the Caribbean coastline. The terrace faces the sea directly and becomes the natural anchor for every day - coffee in the morning, shade in the afternoon, a drink in hand as the light turns. The building has an elevator, and free parking is available in the on-site garage and on the street.



Sleeping arrangements

Three bedrooms accommodate up to 6 guests across 5 beds: 1 king size bed, 2 double beds, and 2 single beds. Three full bathrooms mean no waiting at the start of the day. Each room is fitted with bed linens, hangers, room-darkening shades, and an in-room safe.



Kitchen & dining

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking in - stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster, with cooking basics, dishes, silverware, and wine glasses all provided. A refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, and daily coffee supplies are also on hand. The terrace is right there when you'd rather eat with a view.



Bathrooms & comfort

All three bathrooms come stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and a hair dryer. Air conditioning and ceiling fans keep things cool through the heat of the day. A dedicated workspace and Wi-Fi are available when needed. For longer stays, a washer, dryer, and iron are all in the apartment, with clothing storage throughout.



Entertainment

A TV and game console handle the quieter hours inside. The community game room brings another layer for groups - pool table, ping pong table, and foosball all in one space.

The gated community extends well beyond the apartment itself. A pool and gym are on-site, and the spa facility runs separate areas for men and women - each with a sauna, a steam room, and outdoor jacuzzis. Outdoor showers and beach cabanas are also available.



Location

The beach is less than 5 minutes away on foot, without needing to leave the complex. Beach essentials are included - towels, umbrella, blanket, and snorkeling gear - so you can head straight down without packing a thing. Use of the sauna and jacuzzi comes at no additional charge. You only need to make a reservation through your Concierge. Massages have an additional cost and can be requested through your assigned Concierge. We offer transportation from Cartagena to Calablanca, at an additional cost.



Good to know

There is no smoke alarm or carbon monoxide detector on the property. Luggage drop-off is available for guests with early arrivals or late departures, and long-term stays of 28 days or more are accommodated.
