In this area you have many opportunities for an active vacation: Hallingskarvet, Rallarvegen and Hardangervidda offer wonderful experiences on marked hiking trails, both on foot and by bike. The vacation home also offers an ideal starting point for day trips to Western Norway, for example with the wonderful mountain railroad 'Flåmsbanen'. On hot summer days you can refresh yourself in the nearby Ustedalsfjord.
