This property on So. Shore Drive in Truckee was built in 1970. The view is great. The condition of the house is opposite of great. We are 6 very experienced ww travelers. The kitchen looks like a 1970s kitchen. The stove had 2 of 4 non functioning burners and the cabinets should be replaced asap due to poor condition. Oven worked. Lighting in the house both upstairs and downstairs was VERY poor. Illegal electrical outlets are everywhere with exceptions in kitchen and the 2 small bathrooms. TV small with no DVD. Deck old but ok. Private dock ok. Lake fished out and not stovked in a long time. Not much interior insulation and top floor bedroom guests could hear everything in living area. We have rented on Donner lake before and enjoy Truckee and what it offers. A serious redo top to bottom is needed here. All 6 of us concur.
