Desert Sky Sanctuary

The Space:

Set away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this Eagle Crest home will make for the best family getaway to the unique desert landscape of Central Oregon. Each guest will feel right at home in no time with beautiful decor, brand-new furnishings, and a contemporary feel throughout. After a day of hiking or making your way into town, gather with loved ones, and enjoy a home-cooked meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen. With full bellies, everyone can make their way into the living area and enjoy a movie night on the large flatscreen TV as the gas fireplace flickers nearby. Plus, the shared hot tub will be just the place to watch the stars come out and soak in bliss to end each day on a relaxing note.

Though this quiet neighborhood is set back from Redmond, there are ample activities that guests will absolutely love within walking distance from the front door. For a bit of friendly competition, the sportier crowds can work up a sweat at the shared basketball or tennis courts and soak up the sunshine. Cooling off will be as easy as making your way to the shared pool and taking a dip in the refreshing water. If getting into town and experiencing the charming town of Redmond is on your list, it is just nine miles east offering amazing restaurants and tasty breweries galore! Don't forget to take a day trip to Smith Rock State Park for climbing, hiking, and picturesque views!

Solid house, with all you need for a great weekend. The chairs at the table are not very comfortable, all the of the padding has worn out, similar for the couch. We did all sleep well and loved the new oven and microwave in the kitchen.

The host contacted us the day before to give the check-in procedure. We arrived and everything went smoothly. We did find that most of the towels had stains, and we found some stains on all the comforters. We contacted the host and they responded very quickly. They told us those items were washed, but we went ahead and washed the towels at least. It was a beautiful house and amazing neighborhood. Looking forward to heading back that way soon!

We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the beautiful house and the amazing neighborhood, Mark. It’s great that everything went smoothly with your check-in. We truly appreciate you bringing the towel and comforter concerns to our attention. While we strive for everything to be spotless, we understand that sometimes things can slip through the cracks. We’re glad you were able to wash the towels during your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back soon for another getaway in our lovely desert oasis!

Great Stay

Although our stay was quick and we didn’t spend a lot of time at the house it had everything we needed. It was a quiet area, clean home and offered enough space for 2 adults and 2 kids.

The property was beautifully decorated with wonderful furnishings both inside and out. The host did a wonderful job thinking of all the essentials. The property is very comfortable and a pleasure to stay at.However, we did have issues getting into the property. We were never sent the code to get in, only instructions on how to use the keypad entry. We eventually got the code from the property manager and were able to get in. But at 8:30 at night in the dark it was frustrating. Hopefully just a one time fluke. Like I said overall the property was wonderful and I would stay again.

We’re thrilled to hear that you found the home comfortable and well-equipped for your stay. We sincerely apologize for the trouble you experienced with the entry code. That shouldn’t have happened, and we understand how frustrating it can be to deal with that, especially at night. Quiet and comfortable

We enjoyed staying in this quiet and well maintained neighborhood. The kids could ride their bikes around and the outdoor pool was nearby. It was also nice to have a grassy yard area for the kids to play while we bbq’d on the back patio.
