The Space:

Being situated in the heart of the village at Wallowa Lake makes this the perfect condo to stay at and enjoy all the attractions! Be within an easy walk to the Wallowa Lake Tramway, the go-karts, the mini-golf, the marina, and all the restaurants and shops that the resort side of Wallowa Lake offers!



The open floor plan of the condo keeps all the family together. Large living space flows easily into the kitchen and dining area and the doors out to the deck. The king bedroom and the second bedroom are situated at the backside of the condo away from the parking area.



The living room offers a large flatscreen TV mounted on the wall above the propane fireplace. Lots of overstuffed sofas and an armchair make every seat in the house the perfect place to watch a movie or read a good book! The living room offers a queen-sized hide-a-bed if you'd like a little more room to stretch out.



The kitchen has the modern conveniences of home and the dining room has ample seating for your family dinners and game nights.



The primary bedroom has a comfortable bed and an adjoining bathroom. The main guest bathroom offers a shower/tub combo and a washer and dryer for your use.



This main floor condo is perfect for those that don't want to climb stairs. The deck has patio furniture, a propane BBQ, and plenty of parking for your cars are located just off the deck. NO parking for boats and trailers

We loved our stay! The location couldn’t be better, right across from Matterhorn Village and just steps from the tramway. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was the perfect home away from home for exploring Joseph, and we’re already planning to stay here again on our next trip!

Nice condo with lots of room for the 4 of us. Really close to activities in Wallowa Lake including walking distance to the tram and lake, as well as close to miniature golf, ice cream shop and gift/souvenir shops. Scenic with great views of the mountains and forest—saw very many deer. Really enjoyed the front deck. Would book it again.

Cozy Cabin Retreat

The condo was clean and comfortable for our small family. It was in close proximity to everything, so we got to walk and enjoy a lot of family time. The only thing I would recommend is making sure that blinds have been installed on the front door as it is all glass and people can see in it at night. We would definitely visit again.

Perfect Spot in the woods

Loved this condo. It is well equipped, comfortable and close to the lake. We enjoyed relaxing and taking in the natural beauty all around! Can't wait to stay here again!

The property is just as it is described. The communication with the property manager was prompt. We got our check in info the day before making it easy to get into the property. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen isn’t stocked with “extras” but has plenty of the necessities. The location is perfect, you are close to everything at the lake: park, small grocery store, go carts, gondola, souvenir shop and hiking. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Spot

The property was clean and nice, with a great location close to the marina. We could hear people in the other condos around us, so we did feel like we needed to keep our kids quiet, but overall it was a great spot and we would definitely stay here again.

Stay at Prairie Creek Condo in Joseph Oregon

The location is convenient for the tram station and within walking distance to the lake and river. The house itself is serviceable and suited our needs well. One thing I would like to see if we stay again is better explanation on how to control the heat, and fireplace.

Our June Getaway

The condo was very comfy and in a great location. We enjoyed that part very much. I didn't give five stars due to the online listing indicating there was room for boat and trailer parking and then the owners changed their minds after we had booked and paid. This may sound petty to some reading this review, but taking our boat to the lake was the sole reason we booked this location. When we asked if they woukd make an exception for this one week, they reiterated "no boat or trailer parking." They updated their online listing two days before our departure.

This is a great property for six people. 2 bathrooms,close walking to marina,restaurant,shops,hiking trailheads,and other activities. Does need a new can opener,the one there was broken.

Location was great and the condo was clean except floor needed mopping. However, the master bath tub/shower drain was so slow there was standing water when showering. Previous guests commented that the full glass front door needed a curtain and that remains an issue. On the last full day the door lock stopped working, locking me out. Cell service was limited but fortunately I was able to get a text to friends in the nearby state park.They called Vacasa and explained the problem and Vacasa told them I would receive a text. The next text I received was Vacasa asking if I wanted to extend my stay! Unable to call out, I went to a nearby shop owner next door who let me use her phone. I contacted Vacasa and explained that the door lock stopped working completely..no lights, indicating it was dead. The agent (George) said he would reset the code. I was doubtful that would work since the lock was dead and asked for a local number for assistance. He said he could not provide one but was certain the code would work. I tried the new code but of course, it didn’t work. I went back to the shop owner and fortunately she knew the local manager (as this happened often) and was able to get someone from housekeeping to assist who verified the lock was dead and then had to find someone from maintenance to come and remove the lock and replace the battery. Had Vacasa customer service been more helpful from the start, less vacation time would have been wasted.

Perfect winter get away location!

This condo was a great location for winter fun with a great view of the snow-covered mountains. We were able to snowshoe on a nearby trail and at a park on the lakeshore.
