The Space:

This elevated first-floor Hilton Head vacation rental features an open floor plan and new furnishings. The living area features a comfortable sleeper sofa, flatscreen TV, and access to a private balcony overlooking the lagoon and fountain.



Off the living room, you’ll find the half bathroom, dining area and well-appointed kitchen which features beautiful cabinetry and custom tilework.



Down the hall you’ll find the primary bedroom. This room features a king bed, a flatscreen TV, and a private bathroom. The bathroom has a large vanity and a tub/shower combination. Free WiFi and a private washer/dryer make you feel right at home.



Located in the Folly Field complex, Island Club offers beautifully landscaped grounds with walkways that lead to the beach and sundeck. Find 9 tennis courts with 7 clay and 2 Har-Tru. Also enjoy a fitness center, basketball courts and fishing lagoons. Lagoons are well-stocked and a fishing license is required. Additional amenities include a gas grills on site, a picnic area by the beach with lawn games such as corn hole and lawn golf as well as a children's playground. The pools and hot tub are centrally located in the complex. There is a zero-entry children's pool with a mushroom fountain, a tanning shelf and a large lap pool. The pools can be seasonally heated. You can also rent bikes on-site!

A sofa bed is included.

There are no elevators in the buildings.



The lap pool, kiddie pool, and tanning shelf will close on the evening of October 29, 2023, and re-plaster work begins on October 30. The hot tub will close on the evening of November 24. (Due to the re-plaster work, there may be times when the hot tub is not available.) All pools are scheduled to re-open on March 2, 2024 (date subject to change due to construction).



The heaters for both the lap and kiddie pools will stay on during the spring until the weather changes. The heaters will be turned back on in the fall, depending on the weather.

The place was nice but it could use more chairs on patio and in the living room. Four people can stay but there are not 4 chairs in either. Plus we had to buy ice since there is no ice maker and the worst ice cube trays ever in the freezer, each tray would fill up 1 regular glass.

Overall nice location. Condo may need a little upgrade especially in bathrooms. Big problem was noise from condo upstairs. People were not the problem, however, every time the folks upstairs took a step, we could hear the ceiling/floor creek. One particular morning, they were up at 5:30 AM (presumable packing) in their bedroom. The creeky floors drove us nuts. The plumbing was also noisy. Not as much a problem during the day but at night when we are trying to sleep, it is a problem. Thankfully the condo upstairs was empty most of the time we were there.

Relaxing and peaceful

Island Club was very welcoming and peaceful! This unit was nice. Large enough for our small family of 4. The king size bed was more comfortable than any other beds in the other places we have stayed/vacationed. The balcony over looks one of many lagoons stocked with fish, turtles and an occasional duck; great view! And our son enjoyed fishing in all of them. There are so many other amenities to enjoy here as well; corn hole, playground, picnic tables, grills, pools & a hot tub. The beach was a quick 5 minute walk, the scenery was enjoyable. The small issues we did have were handled promptly and courteously by property management. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again.

Very nice experience

Condo was fairly small, but clean, neat, and well decorated. It was also well stocked. We have stayed at bigger and/or more elaborate places, but this was more than adequate. The only disappointment was that the hot tub was down for maintenance for the entire week.

Spring Break Getaway

This property was a great place for me and my wife to stay during Spring Break. We arrived past hours for the gate attendant so we did not receive a parking pass. We called the property manager and was able to get a pass the next morning. Overall, the pictures are true for what you will see in person. A few things that needed attention: shower glass slide door needs a new track, bedroom ceiling paint had 2 different shades, and the fire alarm went off at 2 am (maybe just need new batteries?). Other than those minor things, we had a great stay, and were able to relax on the beach and at the pool.

I spent two weeks here during February 2021, mostly teleworking with a couple of days off. The complex is conveniently located right on the beach. Although the condo itself is set away from the beach, it overlooks a manmade water feature filled with turtles, ducks, and herons, which was a lot of fun. This was a good stay during COVID, thanks to the first floor, exterior entry, which allows for easy social distancing entering and exiting the condo, and the well stocked kitchen for self-catering.

Great Place

We were not to far from the beach less then a 10 minute walk. The property was nice and clean. There were plenty of place to eat and go food shopping nearby.
