Luxury Coastal Vacation has the worst customer service I've had to deal with. I pay through VRBO, then get weird spam like texts that I need to call them in order to pay (again). So after a bunch of back and forth where VRBO says 'don't do that' then 'ok yeah you can do that,' we finally got the bill paid. I had reached out so many times via messenger and email (and telephone, to get sent to voicemail) and over a week after my vacation ends, I FINALLY get a response back via email. I respond and say 'my vacation has been over for almost a week and you're just now asking me if my complaint has been taken care of' to which I get another AI (probably) written response telling me I'm a valued customer, no hint of any sort of apology for how stressful and haphazard it was to actually get this booking. Condo was beautiful, great location, would have been a perfect trip if the management company had it together.

We're very sorry for the confusing payment requests, the poor communication, and the delayed, impersonal replies you experienced. After a guest books through VRBO then VRBO turns over all payment processing to the host.
