A unique former 19th-century cowshed, stylishly restored, with a modern addition (bathroom and utility area added in 2021), situated on 3,000 square meters of farmland and surrounded by a Mediterranean garden. The beaches of Sampieri and Marina di Modica, as well as the beautiful Baroque towns of Scicli and Modica, are all within a 10- to 15-minute drive. La Casetta Vecchia, nestled in the heart of unspoiled nature, is perfect for a romantic getaway for two.

The tiny house (42 square meters) features an open-concept living area with a sleeper sofa, a large built-in closet, an adjacent kitchenette with a dining table, and a modern bathroom with a shower and utility area (washer, dryer, and shelves).

Above the kitchen area is a second level at a height of approximately 2.4 m, spanning the entire width (5.5 m x 2.4 m), with two additional sleeping areas (slatted frames and comfortable mattresses (0.9 x 2 m)).

A spacious terrace overlooking the Mediterranean garden, featuring fig trees, citrus trees, a wide variety of herbs, and various plants, is available for your full use.

A special highlight is the shower area with a view of the Mediterranean garden and the surrounding landscape. The luxury lies in the details and the design.

The kitchen area features two stovetops, a large refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment, a small wine refrigerator, an espresso machine, etc. Dinnerware for up to four people and many other useful utensils are provided for lovely evenings cooking together as a couple.

Guest Access

You can use the entire Tiny House and have full access to the property with its old olive trees and Mediterranean scented garden. Place your lounge chair wherever you like and enjoy the sweet idleness here. A fire pit is available for cozy evenings. There’s also a grill and a Dutch oven.

Additional important information

For arrivals after 8:00 p.m., we charge a flat fee of 30€ in cash upon arrival.

The plateau is NOT suitable for small children, as the fall protection and the stairs do not meet safety requirements. The fire pit may only be used in the center of the south terrace and is not permitted at any time during the summer due to the risk of fire!
