The first references to settlers in this area are found in the cave paintings along the Rio Martín. The oldest date is from about 6000 BC - All this makes the place ideal for a convivial, versatile vacation, in a hospitable landscape full of natural beauty.



You will find in Montalbán and surroundings, among others, an Institute of Geology, an Observatory or a Mining Museum of Escucha (inside the old mine).
