Solitude in a Natural Home amidst the Aravali Hills
Rituras Jaipur is a family-owned endeavour and a slice of our traditional, self-sustained lifestyle. Nestled against the backdrop of the Aravali Hills and the Nahargarh Forest Reserve, our space is designed with the cow at its center, offering a serene escape into nature.
Our structures are consciously crafted using natural, breathable materials such as mud, limestone, and local stone. This "woven" architecture allows the property to coexist harmoniously with the land.
You’ll likely share the space with squirrels, birds, and other local wildlife. We invite you to embrace this harmless coexistence; and let us know if you spot a rare species! We are currently home to five Gir cows and three young calves. Waking up to their presence against the hills is a highlight of the stay.
We believe in simple, wholesome, and seasonal vegetarian nourishment. The kitchen is stocked with local grains, dry spices, condiments, and fresh milk and ghee directly from our gaushala. You are welcome to harvest fresh produce and cook for yourself. Our kitchen features a regular gas stove and a traditional biofuel setup using cow-dung cakes made on-site. If you prefer not to cook, you can request a specially curated local meal in advance or use local delivery apps. To maintain the ecological integrity of the property, in lieu of Air Conditioning, rooms are equipped with fans and desert coolers to combat the summer heat naturally.
While power cuts are rare, emergency lights are provided in every room for your convenience.
We maintain a strictly substance and alcohol-free environment to preserve the tranquility of the project.
We look forward to sharing the sunsets and the serenity of the Aravalis with you.
