the team behind Life of the Modern Nomads, a family-run hospitality brand creating intentional spaces where people slow down, reconnect, and actually enjoy being together.

We have lived in the Fort Worth and Granbury area for nearly 30 years and know this part of Texas deeply. Ty spent over 20 years building luxury custom homes, and Jenna is a designer. Every property in our collection is personally designed and built by us, which means the details you notice are intentional and the quality is something we stand behind.

We are drawn to spaces that feel collected, not decorated. You will find pieces sourced from Round Top, Texas, layered with original elements from Jenna’s brand, Winton and Waits, and influences from our travels. Everything is designed to feel like it has a story, not just a function.

The Texas Two-Step reflects that philosophy at a larger scale. Two homes designed to give groups space to spread out, come together, and create a shared experience that actually lasts beyond the trip.

We have lived in Fort Worth for nearly 30 years and know this city the way locals do, not the way a travel guide does. We know what works for large groups here, and more importantly, what doesn’t.

What we did not see anywhere in Fort Worth was a true large-group rental that actually worked. Most properties force everyone into one house, feel crowded, or split groups too far apart to enjoy the experience together.

The Texas Two-Step was built to solve that.

Two private homes, just blocks apart, designed to be booked together. One for energy, one for gathering. Space to spread out when you want it, and space to come together when it matters.

Located in Westworth Village, just minutes from Dickies Arena, the Fort Worth Stockyards, and TCU, it puts your group close to everything while still giving you a place to actually relax.

We designed both homes ourselves, from the layout to the smallest details, to make sure they complement each other without being identical. The Preppy brings the resort-style experience. The Sunset Hacienda brings the warmth. Together, they create something that simply does not exist anywhere else in Fort Worth.
