The house decor is so chic and fun! So many amenities and extras to provide endless entertainment without leaving the house. With enough space for our big group to spread out and enjoy all the things. Pool was a big hit with our group and we spent the entire day lounging. Our host Jenna was very easy to connect with and ready to accommodate us if needed. Will definitely book again in the future.

We are Jenna and Ty, the founders of Life of the Modern Nomads, a collection of design-forward vacation homes in Fort Worth and Lake Granbury.

Ty spent more than 20 years building luxury custom homes before we made the move into hospitality. Jenna is a designer, entrepreneur, and the founder of Winton and Waits, a boutique lifestyle brand with locations in Fort Worth and Aledo. Together, we personally build, design, operate, and host the homes in our collection. Nothing is accidental. Every property and every detail has been chosen with purpose.

We have lived and worked in the Fort Worth and Granbury area for nearly 30 years. We are not distant investors managing properties from behind a computer. We are local, hands-on owners who know this region deeply and take personal pride in every guest experience.

Our background in custom home building shapes the way we approach hospitality. The finish level matters. The layout matters. The way a space makes you feel the moment you walk through the door matters. We do not cut corners or settle for good enough. That standard is reflected throughout our homes and is one of the reasons so many guests choose to return.

We have lived in Fort Worth for nearly 30 years and know this city the way locals do, not the way a travel guide does. We know what works for large groups here, and more importantly, what doesn’t.

What we did not see anywhere in Fort Worth was a true large-group rental that actually worked. Most properties force everyone into one house, feel crowded, or split groups too far apart to enjoy the experience together.

The Texas Two-Step was built to solve that.

Two private homes, just blocks apart, designed to be booked together. One for energy, one for gathering. Space to spread out when you want it, and space to come together when it matters.

Located in Westworth Village, just minutes from Dickies Arena, the Fort Worth Stockyards, and TCU, it puts your group close to everything while still giving you a place to actually relax.

We designed both homes ourselves, from the layout to the smallest details, to make sure they complement each other without being identical. The Preppy brings the resort-style experience. The Sunset Hacienda brings the warmth. Together, they create something that simply does not exist anywhere else in Fort Worth.
