Fantastic views at Somerset West

We had a really good time here, especially enjoyed the fantastic views! Everything was exactly as described, our hosts are very friendly and helpful! Location is ideal to explore Cape Town and the surrounding areas, such as Hermanus or the Winelands - Thanks a lot!

Tolle Lage mit fantastischer Aussicht

Sehr nettes, unkompliziertes Vermieterehepaar. 2 mal wöchentlich wurde das Haus gereinigt. Für die Erkundung von Somerset West und Umgebung ideal gelegen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen Dankeschön für Alles, Hanél und Clark!

Absolutely wonderful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The unit was extremely well appointed and had everything we needed for our 8 day stay. This was only our 2nd visit to Cape Town and we wanted our visit to be less hotel centered. We could not have asked for a more suited spot for us. Getting to the home was easy. The location was excellent. The home is beautiful with outstanding views. Nice ameneties that allowed us to truly feel at home. We felt completely at ease and secure. Both my husband and I needed to spend part of our holiday time working and the internet was more than reliable and no periods of loadshedding. Such a great home, great hosts, and excellent location to use as a launching pad for exploring. It was truly a vacation we didn't want to end. Many thanks and I hope to return again!

Fantastic Place

We loved our stayed at this property. It is an absolutely gorgeous place to stay and the views are breathtaking. The owner of the property was so welcoming and accommodating. We had a wonderful experience here. It is beautifully decorated, had everything we needed and it is in a very safe and quiet location. I highly recommend this place for your next vacation.

Spectacular Views

Stylish property with fantastic views. Turned out to be two separate one bedroom apartments and we had the use of both for visiting family and friends. The host speedily arranged some channels to watch on the TV, a brai, two sunbeds and table and chairs for eating on the terrace. Whilst cutlery for four was provided in each apartment there was crockery for only two so we asked our dinner guests to bring their own plates! A tremendous advantage of the property is that it is “off grid” so no load shedding. Wifi was good with only two small interruptions of service. The small plunge pool was fine but the sun shade was broken throughout our six week stay though the gardener effected a fix with some plastic twine. The biggest issue is the garden pathway up to the accommodation - an accident waiting to happen! Despite all that we really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Perfect, magical place - highly recommended

5 stars seems insufficient for this place. It is just perfect, and we had a wonderful time there. Everything from location, facilities, interior, cleanliness and host were better than we could have imagined. We hope to visit again next time we come to South Africa.

Amazing location and views.

I really enjoyed my stay, the house was amazing, modern, private, and views were incredible. I will definitely try to book this property again in the future.

Fantastic views, comfortable accommodation, quiet and safe, we had an amazing time staying here. One of the best properties we’ve stayed at (around the world!). Definitely be back and the hosts were wonderful. Sundowners with sunset views from Cape Point past Table Mountain was a highlight.

Fabulous Stay

We had a perfect one-week stay at this stunningly beautiful condo, which came equipped with breathtaking views morning and night, an aesthetically well-designed layout and décor, and true serenity in a very cool locale in the heart of wine country. The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, communicative, and accommodating, to include allowing us to spontaneously check in a night early. All around a perfect, cozy home away from home. We will be back!
