We’re excited to welcome you to Casa Tropica Escape by Casa del Mar! To ensure everyone enjoys a safe, relaxing stay, please take a moment to review our house rules:
No Parties or Events • This is a relaxing retreat, not a party pad • No parties, events, or loud gatherings allowed • Quiet hours: 10 PM – 8 AM (please respect our neighbors) • Violations may result in cancellation and fees
No Smoking Indoors • No smoking or vaping indoors • You may smoke on the balcony/patio/backyard/porch only (if applicable), with the doors and and windows closed • Please dispose of cigarette butts properly • Evidence of indoor smoking will result in a $350 cleaning fee
Pets Welcome — With Care • Well-behaved pets are welcome: $75 per stay for 1 pet or $100 per stay for 2 pets (maximum 2) • Pets must be declared at booking (type and number required) • Dogs or cats only; no aggressive or destructive pets • Service animals are welcome under ADA guidelines (guests remain liable for damages) • Excessive shedding, odors, or pet-related messes may result in additional cleaning fees
Guest Occupancy • The apartment comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. • An optional air mattress may be available upon request, allowing accommodations for up to 8 guests total. • To help cover additional linens, utilities, amenities, and cleaning, a fee of $30 per person, per night applies for each guest after the first 6 registered guests. • For safety, insurance, and property compliance purposes, all guests must be registered on the reservation. Unregistered overnight guests are not permitted without prior approval from the host.
Parking • Two complimentary reserved parking spaces are available onsite for our guests. • To ensure proper parking accommodations, please provide the make, model, year, and color of each vehicle prior to arrival. • Additional street parking may be available nearby on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability is not guaranteed, and guests assume all responsibility when parking on public streets and premises. • Please use only the designated guest parking spaces. All other onsite parking spaces are reserved for residents. Unauthorized parking may result in towing, fines, or a $45 violation fee.
Cleaning & Fees • A standard cleaning fee of $145 applies to each reservation. For short stays of 1–2 nights, cleaning fees typically range from $125–$130. • Excessive mess, stained linens, pet-related accidents, strong odors, excessive trash, or property damage may result in additional cleaning or replacement fees. • Smoking or vaping inside the home is strictly prohibited and will result in a minimum $350 deep-cleaning fee.
Clean & Respectful Use • Treat the space as you would your own • Avoid spills, stains, or damages that might require deep cleaning • Do not access or tamper with the owner’s closet or cabinets • We provide clean linens for the number of guests listed on your reservation • Please do not use or open any additional linens stored in janitorial bags, as these are reserved for upcoming turnovers. If accessed or used, an additional cleaning fee may apply since all linens would need to be rewashed • Please do not move or rearrange furniture. This helps us keep the space safe and ready for future guests. Any damage or re-staging may result in an additional fee
Sink & Garbage Disposal • No garbage disposal, DO NOT put food down the sink • A $75 fee will apply if the sink clogs due to misuse
Baby & Toddler Gear (Available Upon Request) • We understand that traveling with little ones can require extra accommodations. Baby and toddler essentials such as cribs, high chairs, pack-and-plays, strollers, and other family-friendly items may be available upon request. • If an item is not available through the property, we can coordinate rentals through one of our trusted third-party providers for an additional fee. • To ensure availability and allow time for delivery and setup, please submit all requests prior to arrival. • Rental fees, delivery charges, and availability vary based on the requested items and provider.
Check-In & Check-Out • Check-in: 4:00 PM • Check-out: 10:00 AM • Early check-in: from 1:30 PM for $30; earlier for $50 (subject to availability) • Late check-out must be pre-approved. Unapproved departures will result in a $35 late fee plus a $25 violation fee for every 30 minutes past checkout
Deliveries & Belongings • We are not responsible for packages, deliveries, or personal items left at the property during or after your stay
Fire Safety & Open Flames • For everyone’s safety, open flames are not permitted inside the home. This includes candles, incense, fireworks, sparklers, or any other flame-producing items.
• Guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor BBQ grill and fire pit provided by the property. Please use these amenities responsibly, never leave them unattended while in use, and ensure they are completely extinguished when finished.
Accessibility & Liability • The unit is located within a triplex property and is easily accessible (no stairs required) • The apartment is not specifically equipped for wheelchair accessibility • Guests assume full responsibility for their use of the unit and surrounding property areas • Casa Tropica Escape, Casa del Mar, the property owner, and service providers (including cleaners) are not liable for injuries, accidents, or medical emergencies during your stay • All use of the property is at the guest’s own risk • We are not responsible for damage, loss, or theft involving guest belongings or vehicles, whether onsite or on the street

Truvi Guest Screening We partner with Truvi, our trusted third-party guest screening provider, to help ensure a safe and seamless stay for everyone.
• Truvi runs a secure, contactless screening automatically on every booking • In most cases, no action is needed from the guest • Occasionally, guests may receive a brief email from Truvi to confirm basic details (name, phone number, and email) • If a verification request is sent, it must be completed promptly to avoid any delays with check-in • If required screening is not completed, we reserve the right to cancel the stay • Guests may be held responsible for any costs incurred from cancellation • A $25 violation fee may also apply
