This peaceful 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath condo at Bungalows by the Gulf on Hwy 98 in Franklin County is located 7 miles east of Carrabelle. Enjoy beautiful Gulf views and a 400-foot dock—perfect for fishing and relaxing.

Located along Florida’s “Forgotten Coast,” this area offers a peaceful escape from crowded beaches and busy tourist spots. Just minutes from Carrabelle and Apalachicola, you’ll enjoy fresh local seafood, charming shops, and a relaxed, small-town feel. Spend your days fishing, kayaking, or exploring nearby areas like St. George Island State Park, and your evenings taking in stunning Gulf sunsets—all in a quiet, uncrowded setting.

While the property sits directly on the water, the protected shoreline creates calm, bay-like conditions with a natural, muddy bottom, so swimming is not recommended. Please note that boat docking is not permitted, and stairs are required to access the condo.

This condo was exactly what we were looking for for a few days away from the world. We loved the fact that it was very quiet and not in a highly populated tourist area. Amazing views of the sunrise coming up over the ocean water from the private balcony aslo with a nice private pier. Communication with the host was excellent and the unit was very clean.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here. The unit far exceeds what we expected. Our host was generous and responsive. We love the upstairs bedrooms, balcony and the extra half bathroom downstairs. All of the furniture is super comfy and the spaces are inviting. The kitchen has all of the necessities and we did cook in it our last night. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to our friends. If you’re looking for a not crowded gulf view place that’s conveniently located and without all of the beach traffic at St George Island or Carrabelle Beach, this is an incredible find for the price.

The place was great. Tons of room and clean. The most amazing part was the view off both the living room deck and the master bedroom deck. Sunrise and sunsets were gorgeous. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the charm and quiet little town feel. We wanted to getaway from the hustle and bustle and this place definitely did the trick. Looking forward to returning.
