The 40 m² SchlossGarten vacation apartment is located on the first floor of a newly renovated, more than 200-year-old building—designated as a historic landmark—directly in front of the main entrance to Hartenfels Castle. It features a spacious living room with a fireplace, a bedroom with a double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet.
Only from the SchlossGarten vacation apartment can you enjoy the exclusive panoramic view of Hartenfels Castle and the rose garden. Right next door, just 20 meters from the house, live Torgau’s iconic animals: the two brown bears, Bea and Benno, in their impressive bear pit.
The vacation rental was completed in early 2022. Special emphasis was placed on creating a healthy living environment through the use of materials such as lime plaster and wood-fiber insulation. The exposed historic half-timbered walls harmonize with the stylish interior featuring solid wood furniture and leather. Handcrafted details made from black, several thousand-year-old bog oak from the Elbe River add special accents.
One-night stays can also be booked upon request.
