Step inside to a warm and inviting space featuring beautiful new construction, a cozy gas fireplace, and large windows that frame the stunning lake views. The cottage opens to a spacious deck overlooking the water, perfect for morning coffee, sunset drinks, or simply soaking in the quiet beauty of the Northwoods.

Outside, unwind around the lakeside firepit or enjoy the large yard that leads to the water. Dock access is available, so bring your boat or ask about renting a new Premier tritoon for a day of exploring East Twin Lake.

Wildlife and nature are everywhere here, listen for loons on the water, watch eagles soar overhead, and enjoy the peaceful sounds of frogs and birds in this private nature nook on the lake.

The lake was so peaceful. Our favorite activities were sitting at the end of the dock enjoying wonderful sunsets and listening to the calls of the loons and frogs. I took three amazing kayak paddles around the lake in which I was able to observe the two resident adult loons feeding and caring for their chick from a respectable distance for long periods of time. After dark we enjoyed sharing our stories from the day's activities around the campfire in the provided firepit. When we ate out we enjoyed meals at restaurants in Nisswa and Cross Lake.

The cottage was very new and we enjoyed the Paul Bunyan Trail as we love the outdoors. Location is lake front and our dogs loved it too. Only mention is the main residence is right across the street. We were visiting family and have traveled to MN in the Nisswa area for many years. It’s beautiful and I love the people. The proximity is great to the gull lake chain and many great eating spots. Downtown Nisswa is quaint and fun to people watch and visit the stores.

From vibrant festivals and live music to local breweries, golf courses, and charming boutique shopping, there’s something for everyone. Some of our favorite memories are simple ones, family bike rides into Nisswa and slow, sunset boat cruises on the lake.

Tucked into a secluded bay, this is a place where you can unwind and recharge, while still being close to all the fun and energy of the area. Whether you’re here for peaceful mornings, nature walks, trail rides, or evenings on the water, we hope you’ll experience your own perfect North Woods retreat.
