Cold plunge, barrel sauna, and hot tub on a private wellness deck — built for groups of up to 10. The Indigo Perch sits atop Carter Mountain with sweeping forest views and direct access to the Ouachita National Forest. This isn’t your average cabin.

The Wellness Deck: Your own outdoor spa, and the reason guests book us. Move through the full hot-and-cold circuit: warm up in the barrel sauna, brace in the cold plunge, then sink into the hot tub under the trees. A dedicated yoga and stretch area rounds out 2,400+ sq ft of deck wrapped in greenery.

The Space: Two connected buildings sleep 10 across 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms:
– 2 king suites
– 1 room with 2 full beds + 2 twin bunks
– Game room, full kitchen, and generous indoor living for spreading out

Who It’s For: Friend getaways, multi-couple trips, reunions, and milestone celebrations. With room to gather and room to retreat, it’s ideal for adult groups and families with older kids and teens.

The Setting: Tucked into nature but minutes from Hochatown’s dining, wineries, and Broken Bow Lake. Hike straight from the property, then come back to the deck for sunset.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the location was perfect for exploring the area while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The host was responsive, friendly, and made check-in and check-out seamless. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Every detail, from the cold plunge to the all-white linens to the stocked kitchen, is something we wanted for ourselves first. Hochatown is one of the most beautiful corners of southeastern Oklahoma. We fell for the setting the moment we saw it, perched high with sweeping forest views and direct access into the Ouachita National Forest, where you can hike straight from the property.

It’s tucked away and quiet, the kind of place where you actually hear the trees, yet you’re only minutes from Hochatown’s restaurants, wineries, breweries, and Broken Bow Lake. You get the seclusion of deep woods without giving up a good dinner out.

Mornings on the deck with coffee and that view are our favorite part.

Most cabins out here have a hot tub. We have the full circuit. The Indigo Perch is built around a wellness deck where you can move from a barrel sauna to a cold plunge to the hot tub — the same hot-and-cold routine people drive to a spa for, here on your own private deck wrapped in forest. Add a dedicated yoga and stretch space and 2,400+ sq ft of deck, and it becomes a true reset, not just a place to sleep.

It’s also built for groups. Two connected buildings sleep up to 10 with room to gather and room to retreat, plus a game room for downtime. Whether it’s a friends’ getaway, a multi-family trip, or a milestone celebration, there’s space for everyone to be together and space to slip away when you need it.
