House was comfy, decor adorable, great screened porch to hand out on, I’m a claw foot tub fan, beautiful stone fireplace, full kitchen. Perfect got my terrier as he stayed in his x-pen on the porch & inside. Spacious outdoors for walking & private. parked my vehicle tight by the back foor for easy access to load & unload. Host was friendly & most helpful with internet, directions & met me when I arrived to check in.

We had a wonderful stay at Robin and Anne's The Extra House! The house was cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. One of our favorite features was the spacious bathroom— it was so roomy and had a nice view outside.We absolutely loved spending time with their dogs. They are incredibly sweet, friendly, and made our stay even more special. My dog just loves roaming and sniffing in the open area. We also enjoyed fishing right by the river, having a mini picnic, and ending the day with a bonfire. It was the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy nature.The property is so peaceful, and we especially loved hiking down to the river, sitting by the water, and dipping our feet in the cool stream. It was such a simple but memorable experience.Robin and Anne are such wonderful hosts who truly make you feel welcome. Their hospitality, combined with the beauty and tranquility of the property, made for an unforgettable stay. We know anyone who visits will have an amazing time here. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature! This was our second stay at their place and we plan to be back soon!

We started coming to a rental here in the community of Tate City Ga. Then our home came available in 2017 and we moved from Atlanta fulltime in 2020. Our community is in the National Forest on the headwaters of the Tallulah River with fishing and hiking all around.

Our Extra House is right on the river with several fishing and swimming holes at each end of the property and close waterfalls too.
