"Living on the Wedge" A 3-bedroom house in Lincoln on Historic Route 66.

Take a step back in time to the 1970's. This unique building sits on the first alignment of historic Route 66. The first floor is a business while the second and third floor of the building are yours to enjoy. Enter through the private entrance and head up the stairs to the apartment which features 3 full bedrooms and 2 full and one 1/2 baths (one of which is the Master Bath), The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you need to cook a meal, or order in from several local businesses. enjoy a meal around the dining room table or cozy up to the breakfast bar. You will find the media room on the third floor which boasts a large screen tv, DVD player with streaming services. A half bath is conveniently located on the third floor as well. The sofa can convert to an additional fourth full sized bed. There is also a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. All bedrooms have a television, and streaming services are provided as well as complimentary Wi-fi throughout the building. Two off street parking spaces are provided; additional parking is available on the street. The building is centrally located and is within walking distance to downtown shopping, dining, the Museum of Route 66, a beautiful Carnegie library, and several historic President Lincoln sites,

The place was very clean and spacious. It is decorated Mid Century Modern. 2nd floor is the main floor.We loved the 3rd floor media room where many channels were available to watch/stream. Paddington Bear was watching atop his suit case. There is a half bath on 3rd floor if the need arises while watching shows.The bathrooms were cute. I meant to take pictures. The master bedrooms bathroom had a blue tub and cute pattern wall paper.We slept well.We were in town for our grandson's soccer tournament so we only stayed 1 night. We were close to the Route 66 museum that just opened and popped in there for some gifts. We will visit there another time. We enjoyed Guzzardos for dinner. The morning we left, we go donuts at Mel-O-Cream. Close to everything. Great parking!

I am from Lincoln and am a board certified chef. I run a drive thru only food establishment on the first floor of the building specializing in locally grown and sourced foods grown using organic practices. I make handcrafted meals either hot or frozen fresh, and ready to take and bake. I also produce a large line of soups and sauces.

I wanted this building for over 10 years due to the unique architectural design, and the drive thru kitchen located on the first floor. It is centrally located and is situated on the first alignment of historic Route 66.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The architectural design of this building which was constructed in 1971 by a local family.. The townhouse occupies the second and third floor. And the first floor contains a chefs kitchen with two drive thrus. This property is truly one of the most unique properties in Logan county and while it appears to be a fachwerk design of wood and stucco it actually completely constructed of cement and steel and the woodwork on the outside is strictly decorative. Having the first floor kitchen gives me the opportunity to provide my guests staying upstairs with room service if they would like it.
