The modern apartments are tastefully, comfortably, and brightly furnished with excellent amenities. Each features cable flat-screen TV (Apple TV) and a radio. The kitchens are very well and fully equipped with a stove (4 ceramic burners), oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, filter coffee maker, Nespresso capsule coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, fondue set, and raclette machine. Hardwood floors in the living room and bedrooms with underfloor heating. Each bathroom has a hair dryer.

SAAS-GRUND: Just under 4 km from the world-famous, sophisticated year-round resort of Saas-Fee lies Saas-Grund, the main town of the Saas Valley. It is an “affordable” alternative and offers a wide range of sports and recreational activities in both winter and summer.
WINTER: Saas-Grund features a small but excellent, sunny, and very child-friendly ski area: an 8-person gondola takes you up to Kreuzboden at an elevation of 2,400 m, and from there, you can continue on Switzerland’s highest gondola up to a respectable 3,200 m. The ski area comprises a total of 35 km of downhill runs (mostly with artificial snow). Mountain restaurant, adventure playground for children, and a childcare center with supervision. A good ski area for beginners. Snowboard park at Kreuzboden. In the Saas Valley, between the towns, there are a total of 26 km of groomed cross-country trails (fee required). Free ski bus between the towns. Switzerland’s longest toboggan run (11 km long) is located here. 22 km of marked winter hiking trails.
SUMMER: More than 200 km of hiking trails, 3 tennis courts, fitness trail. A total of 70 km of mountain bike trails, including bike rentals. Mini-golf. Bars, restaurants, dance clubs, supermarkets.

SAAS-FEE: This world-famous resort, with its imposing glaciers, lies in a small basin at an elevation of 1,800 m and is surrounded by 13 four-thousand-meter peaks, including such well-known mountains as the Dom, Alphubel, Nadelhorn, Täschhorn, and Allalin. The entire town of Saas-Fee is car-free and can only be accessed on foot or by electric taxi. At the entrance to the town, a huge, multi-story parking garage (for a fee) offers ample parking.

The ski area is remarkable and is used as a training camp, particularly by many national ski teams; this is because Saas-Fee is, alongside Zermatt, the only year-round ski area (reduced to the glacier ski area in summer) in Switzerland. While the lifts in the valley are more suitable for beginners, over 20 lifts (gondolas, chairlifts, and T-bar lifts) serve approximately 100 km of downhill runs up to an altitude of 3,600 m; higher up, red and black runs predominate and are a real treat, especially for experienced skiers.
