The Space:

Watch the sun come up over the Atlantic Ocean each morning at Oceanwalk 501, a comfortable, light-filled condo with an oceanfront location that will make your vacation one for the books. Whether you spend your days surfing or sunbathing, you'll enjoy coming home to a private balcony overlooking the beach, a full kitchen (with a dishwasher), air conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer. Here at Oceanwalk, you'll be perfectly placed for experiencing Maryland's most famous resort town. All up and down Coastal Highway, you'll find shops, restaurants, bars, mini-golf, grocery stores, and such local favorites as Dumser's Dairyland and The Fractured Prune. Northside Park is only half a mile north, where you can take in fireworks displays, rent kayaks and paddleboards, go crabbing and fishing off the pier, ride bikes, and attend such special events as Sundaes in the Park (with live entertainment and sundae-making for adults and children every Sunday night in July and August). Things to Know Full kitchen No pets and no smoking permitted Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Oceanwalk 501, a must stay!

We had a great time here, kids enjoyed every minute especially on the beach and in the apartment. It had everything we need, it maintained very clean and well, would highly recommend!

Great Home Away From Home

This was our second stay at this condo. This home is a very clean and comfortable. The ocean front view is amazing and the beach has easy access. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent it again.

The bedroom window is huge and you can watch the sunrise from bed. The balcony needs attention but the view is good as well. The kitchen could use bigger coffee mugs :). Overall I would rent again

The condo was very nice, comfortable and well furnished. We were very pleased with how clean it was. The view was fantastic from every room and especially the balcony. We appreciated the extra amenities that were there. We had problems with the electricity almost as soon as we arrived which was not the fault of the owner but it was a bit upsetting having to lug essential stuff up 5 flights of stairs because the elevator service was not operable.We made several calls to report the problem. Once it was reported, the response was very quick. We were told that the electric company involved was working to fix the problem and after 3 hours the electricity was back on but there was still no elevator service until the next day.

Perfection

Everything about this condo is perfect! Private, gated parking lot gives you a peace of mind. The unit is clean and comfortable with phenomenal views. It is a very quiet building, not a lot of kids running the halls. Yes, Carousel is next door and they play music at night, but it wasn't annoying and stopped at a reasonable hour. You couldn't hear it inside the condo. Will definitely return!

Great Location.

Home was beautiful in an great location north of the boardwalk. Condo was 80% clean I would say. Shower wall wasn’t cleaned and there was hair that wasn’t ours in places but it’s best I’ve seen from places we’ve been. I would go back. Only reason for the 4 stars is the cleaning not being spotless. Sorry not sorry 😅

Rough start good overall

The check in was a nightmare. Arrived about four hours before check-in and was told that early check-in is not available. That was fine but went back to the condo at 4 PM and it was an absolute disaster called customer service got hung up on three times drove back to the check-in office and talked to the manager Scott who was actually able to help us and turn things around. Was not able to get into the room until almost 8PM but the rest of the trip went well

The location is perfect and the view is even better. The mattresses do need to be updated because a restful sleep is important. All other furniture is dated but very comfortable. The cleaning services has been unsatisfactory for the last few years. This is an immediate turn-off from the moment you enter the unit. I have to do a thorough cleaning right away. Coldwell Banker is slow to respond to reported issues unless they are severe. With the current price increases, I feel that management is benefitting and NOT the customer. I doubt that the cleaners spend more than 15 mins. preparing the unit for the next renter yet they insist on not allowing access until 4pm with no exceptions. I would rent this unit every year but I have to explore my options when I consider the price and the complaints I have pertaining to management.

Comfortable Property, Great Ocean View--Could Have Been Cleaner

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The view of the ocean was lovely, and we loved staying right on the beach. It was also a convenient walk to the grocery store, coffee shops, and Northside Park. The property was clean enough, but it needs some deep cleaning and updating. The sheets were clean on the beds, but the one coverlet that was older had stains, and there was one ratty, cheap cotton blanket in the closet. The sofa sleeper coverlet had crumbs or dirt on it. The dishwasher was musty; I am guessing from lack of use and keeping it closed; it needed to be bleached or sanitized. There is also signage on the fridge and in the laundry room that says what guests are supposed to when they leave, but that was not consistent with what we saw in the app. Not enough trash bags provided for a family of 5 staying 5 days. But we had brought some of our own. And check-in was very confusing. We could not find the location to get our "packet", so we gave up. The number on the building did not match the address in VRBO, so that was annoying. We used the codes in the app to get in the gate and into the door, and we never officially checked in. It said we had to in the app, but that didn't actually seem to matter. Better and consistent communication and messaging would have been good. It was generic and not very personalized.
