Welcome to The Landing — a private 1-bedroom retreat tucked into Peace Valley Sanctuary, a quiet 70+ acre nature property near Caddo Gap, Arkansas. With its own entrance, full kitchen, cozy living area, queen bedroom, and peaceful property views, The Landing is ideal for a restful solo trip, couple’s getaway, or simple home base for exploring the area.

Spend your morning with coffee in the dining nook, curl up in the reading chair, take a quiet walk around the property, or head out to enjoy the Caddo River, Glenwood, Norman, and nearby Ouachita National Forest. It’s an easy, comfortable stay for guests who want quiet, nature, and a little breathing room.

The Landing is attached to the main lodge building, but it has a separate entrance and private living space. Peace Valley is in a rural setting, so cell service may be limited — but WiFi is available on the property once you arrive. We have Starlink internet, which is generally fast and works well for most guests. However, because we’re in a rural location, we can’t guarantee uninterrupted connectivity for mission-critical work or video conferencing. Nearby Attractions

• Glenwood – restaurants, groceries, and small-town essentials (approximately 20 minutes)

• Lake Greeson – boating, fishing, swimming, and scenic lake drives (approximately 20 minutes)

• Crater of Diamonds State Park – search for real diamonds and explore Arkansas’s most unique state park (approximately 25 minutes)

• Mount Ida – crystal shops, ATV trails, and Ouachita Mountain adventures (approximately 35 minutes)

• Hot Springs National Park – historic bathhouses, shopping, restaurants, spas, and nightlife (approximately 45–50 minutes)

It was so nice to unplug. Peaceful does describe the whole stay. We were met with the sweetest dog ever and even got to make friends with a peacock I immediately named Kevin. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in the area.

This get away was perfect for my husband and I. We traveled from out of state, the property was off the beaten path and gave up seclusion, quiet and peacefulness... just what we needed! The apartment was perfect and cozy. We were able to wash our clothes, fix our meals and enjoy quiet evenings on the deck, porch swing or taking a nature walk. As we are animal lovers, Oskie and the peacock were a huge bonus! Oskie was a very attentive and loving host pup who ensured our safety and enjoyment. We plan on making this our regular place to book when we return! The real host was easy to communicate with and very responsive to my messages.

We enjoyed our stay, being out away from any traffic was so peaceful,loved sitting on the porch seeing the peacock, two friendly dogs.The landscaping, flowers, sitting areas so pretty.Landscaping needed attention,as well as lawn but with all the rain I am sure it was hard to get done.The smell when we entered the apartment was bad,we discovered it was the water that was smelling, after a day of us running the water it seamed a little better by the 3rd day it was much better.We were confused where we were to stay.No numbers on building where we stayed It was easy access to get in Apt.Plenty of towels and wash clothes.It's a older building with that comes little issues.If you want to be out away from traffic and just peaceful time and relax this is a good spot.Bring your essentials, shampoo,tpaper, soap , coffee, drinking water.

Very cute, fully equipped apartment in a beautiful country setting. Owner is helpful and easy to get ahold of both before and during your stay. This property is rural, however very little of your drive is on a gravel road, which is nice. The property itself has a nice paved, circular driveway, which allows you to park close to the unit. The location is not far from several of Arkansas' beautiful waterfalls and natural springs, which I really enjoyed. There are at least 3 crystal mines within a 25 minute or less drive. A grocery store, Dollar General, hardware store, and gas station are all within about a15 minute drive. I have no hesitation in recommending this property or owner.

The host was extremely accommodating and had excellent communication whenever questions or concerns arised. The property is beautiful with many amenities. I'd love to stay here again.
