This living stone castle sits on Schweitzer Mountain, just over a mile from Schweitzer Mountain Resort, with a private enclosed hot tub overlooking the slopes. Three levels blend modern comfort with old-world stone architecture, a large wood-burning fireplace, and hydronic-heated Idaho quartzite floors. Dog-friendly (2 dogs welcome). Note: 4WD required October 31 through April 30, and ski-in/ski-out access is conditions-dependent.

Lovely place to stay. Ski in and out as described...the ski in requires a 300 foot hike up a hill. The owners are super friendly. The dragon cake was a hit with the family.

This was such a magical place to stay on our Christmas vacation!! It surpassed ALL expectations! Magical place to make great memories

We were truly transported back to medieval times… The younger boys loved the experience of sleeping in the tower of the castle… The art and artifacts added so much more to the experience for the adults…looking forward to visiting again…

Amazing and relaxing

We came for a girl's weekend and felt like princesses. House is amazing. The owner is equally amazing and ensured we had extra fun with the cake and flowers waiting for us on arrival. Make sure you read the book as there is an adventure waiting for you inside.
