This spacious, cozy room is located in an older building with beautiful wooden floorboards and has been freshly renovated. In addition to a double bed (160 cm), there is a sofa where you can relax and read, as well as a desk with a view of Kassel. You’ll have your own space on the 2nd floor, and the bathroom is for your exclusive use. In 10 minutes, you can reach downtown (documenta) or the Bergpark. The room is centrally located yet quiet. We provide coffee, a garden, air-dried bed linens and towels, and tips ;-)
The accommodation:
Our house is located in the Kirchditmold neighborhood, making it very central yet quiet and surrounded by greenery. The bus stop is just around the corner, and you can be in the city in 10 minutes. The Bergpark (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is within walking distance, and if you’re athletic, you can even make it up the steps to the Hercules statue ;-)
The house has 3 floors (formerly 3 separate living units), and we live here alone. We’re a family with 3 children (ages 15, 12, and 9) and mainly use the first floor and the first floor. The second floor has the guest room and 2 home offices, which are rarely used. This floor has a door to the apartment, which you’re welcome to keep closed during your stay. There’s no kitchen upstairs. You’re welcome to store a small snack in our refrigerator. The bathroom has a bathtub, a sink, and a toilet with a beautiful view. We can provide two mattresses for children. We charge an additional €5 per day for this.
In the room itself, you’ll find cups (for coffee/espresso), glasses, a Nespresso machine (coffee is on us), a corkscrew, cutlery, bowls, and plates. The water comes directly from a spring and tastes excellent straight from the tap.
