Our guesthouse is situated in a wonderfully peaceful location, nestled in the midst of an idyllic garden, in the heart of Eggstätt. You’ll be able to relax wonderfully here, as no traffic noise disturbs the soothing silence. Our Bavarian-style house features four vacation apartments. The two apartments on the second floor leave nothing to be desired and are lovingly decorated in a traditional Bavarian style. All apartments have a balcony. Of course, you’re also welcome to use our large, sunny lawn, and the children can have fun on the playground. The Gasthof Unterwirt is right next door, so your dining needs are taken care of, and you can also enjoy the breakfast buffet (for a fee). Shops, banks, and other restaurants, as well as the nature reserve with Lake Hartsee, are also within walking distance. So nothing stands in the way of a vacation where you can leave the car behind for a while! It offers a Bavarian ambiance with a “royal” flair across a spacious 95 m². You’ll find a small entryway leading first into the very bright, spacious kitchen. Furnished in a country-style design, the kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, featuring an oven, ceramic cooktop, microwave, refrigerator with a three-star freezer compartment, toaster, electric kettle, and coffee maker, as well as plenty of cookware and tableware. A dishwasher is, of course, also available. A cozy corner bench with a table is perfect for sharing a snack together. Next, you’ll enter the huge living room. Here, you’ll find Bavarian coziness with a rustic wood-burning stove. A seating area with a large TV, a bay window dining nook, and a massage chair all invite you to relax and unwind. Here, we provide the first sleeping option in the form of a fold-out sofa bed for two people. The highlight of the living room is undoubtedly the wraparound terrace, where you can enjoy both the morning sun and the warming rays of the setting sun. You’ll also have an unobstructed view of the spacious garden with the Eggstätter Maibaum in the background. The next room is equally spacious: the bedroom with a double bed and a large built-in closet. This room also opens onto the terrace. A second bedroom features two single beds—ideal for children as well. The next room you’ll find is the bright bathroom with a window. A separate shower, bathtub, and sink, along with plenty of space, invite you to relax. The separate restroom is right next door. We’ll, of course, provide plenty of bed linens. With so much space, your family vacation is guaranteed to be relaxing! Numerous hiking and biking trails invite you to enjoy a leisurely excursion into the enchanting natural surroundings of Eggstätt. Lake Chiemsee is just 5 km away. We’re located at an elevation of 539 m above sea level and have a population of approximately 2,900.<br> Our guesthouse is situated in a very quiet and central location in the village. The “Unterwirt” inn, located directly behind the house and long run by our family, offers you additional amenities to complement your vacation rental. You’re also welcome to have breakfast there, and the children can enjoy the inn’s playground.
