The view from up top of the crows nest was awesome, day or night. This house served its purpose. We stayed very active, as planned. It has so many appliances!!! Endless food storage ftim three refrigerators. Only downfall to this property, the beds aren’t very comfortable. Master bedroom on the main floor was very hard. Host was amazing! Very responsive!

This review is more about our experience with the property management than the house itself, which is unfortunate because this house has the potential to be one of the best in Corolla. Property wasn’t ready at check-in time on Saturday so we sat in the pool area while the cleaners “cleaned” a 7BR house in 35 minutes, which tells you the level of clean that occurred. Pool area, tiki bar area and hot tub weren’t touched… We reported several issues with the house when we checked in (broken microwave, door on tiki bar wouldn’t roll up properly) and they were never resolved all week. With that in mind, here is our experience. Pros: - House layout was good, plenty of room to stretch out and privacy for a large group. - Nice mix of king-sized beds bunkbeds, all rooms with access to a bathroom. - Kitchen had plenty of utensils and whatnot. - Pool is one of the larger pools we saw in the area. - Hot tub was great. - Whalehead neighborhood and proximity to shopping, restaurants, etc. in Corolla was great. - Proximity to beach was great. - Volleyball court was great, bigger than most in the neighborhood. Cons: - Lack of towels, washcloths, etc. You get a sealed bag with one bath towel and washcloth per bed, no bathmats, additional towels, etc. - Zero documentation on the house. Would have been great to have instructions on Hot tub, Gas Grille (which was filthy BTW). - Kitchen appliances were outdated and falling apart (microwave)

Thank you for the detailed feedback, David! I am glad the layout, pool, hot tub, and location worked well for your group. The delayed check-in, the broken microwave, and the tiki bar door are all things I take seriously and will look into right away. I hope you will give us another chance in the future.
