Very Enjoyable Stay in Austria
My adult daughter and I were visiting Austria for the F1 race. This room is nearly an hour from the track, which isn't too bad but is a drive after a long day baking in the sun. The accommodations were very well maintained and clean. As stated, the hosts do speak little English and we weren't experienced with Google Translate. Note what appears to be two twin beds in the picture are two twin mattresses on one frame that won't separate. The pictures indicate there is a living area. The room we had did not have a living area, and we were not shown how to access one. The amenities list indicates there is a balcony and barbeque grill. Our room did not provide access to the balcony, and we didn't see where the grill was located if it was there. There were sitting areas in the garden which were lovely. The host expected payment via bank transfer and it took a while to learn Paypal has a service called Xoom which we could use to pay for the room. Positively, the breakfast was a beautiful traditional Bavarian breakfast and was provided for no charge. Doris would provide it at the time of our choosing, including quite early in the morning so we could depart at 0700. Also, we needed to run a load of laundry and Doris took care of it for us washing, drying, and folding it. Finally, we bought some food and Doris provided an insulated bag and chemical ice so we could keep it cool in our room. Overall, we highly recommend staying with Doris and Otto, just be flexible.
