Explore the spit to the Mediterranean Sea with its beautiful nature reserve on foot or by canoe. At the San Pedro del Pinatar salt flats you may see flamingos. For larger excursions, the port city of Cartagena or the provincial capital of Murcia with a worth seeing old town and old cathedral are suitable.
