Stay in playa negra

Wonderful time at the home for 2 days with mother. Fantastic hosts, amazingly beautiful garden, clean and super swimming pool. A great stay in playa negra, so close to puerto viejo downtown!

Quick getaway trip

This property is perfectly placed in Puerto Viejo, minutes away from restaurants and the beach. We had no issues finding plenty of things to do nearby. The property itself is gorgeous and secluded. Hosts were very gracious and kind and more than willing to help with any questions.

Incredible experience!

The lodging and grounds were beautiful and it’s so obvious how much love and time Daniel and Renata have put into their wonderful vacation accommodations. We saw so many birds, Toucan’s, a sloth, agouti’s, and even a caiman in their lagoon. They answered all of our questions, made great arrangements for tours, and made sure we had everything we needed daily! After a long day of hiking, etc. it was so refreshing to end the day with a swim in the pool. You won’t be disappointed! Thanks Daniel and Renata for an unforgettable vacation.

Paradise

I solo traveled for one month Costa Rica! This was by far above and beyond what I could have Imagined. Gorgeous property with its own jungle walk. I saw Howler monkeys, a cayman, a two toed sloth which spend a few days hanging out just outside my bungalow. Birds everywhere Butterfly’s, and Flowers! If you like art this place is for you. From inside each bungalow to all around the grounds you will see murals

Casa Renada, Puerto Viejo

What a wonderful property! The pictures just do not do it justice. The hosts Renada & Daniel are long time residents (19 years) & lovely people, very knowledgeable of the area & the wildlife & were eager for us to have a great experience. They waited up for us to arrive from San Jose, took our luggage from us & personally saw us to our little cabin. The cabins (there are 4 I believe) are private, all very well built & kept with gorgeous woodwork throughout. All are located in a beautiful little compound full of gardens that have a raised path winding through them & through a patch of jungle to view wildlife. The hosts also live on property & were around if we ever needed anything. There were sloths, Howler Monkeys, a Cayman, an Agouti, all just outside out door. It was a beautiful peaceful little slice of paradise. Very convenient to many activities, Playa Negra & the little town of Puerto Viejo are all walking distance from the property. What a great area. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I would most definitely stay with them again. Pura Vida.

The very best stay!

We have visited Costa Rica a few time over the years and this was the very best property we ever stayed at. Daniel and Renata love the natural beauty of Costa Rica and it shows on the property. The gardens are gorgeous and full of wild life and they have their own little jungle in the back of the property where I walked every chances I got. The pool is in a beautiful natural tropical setting, little yellow birds would take a dip in front of us in the afternoon . Daniel showed us the frogs at night and the various trees he has on the property (nutmeg, cinamon, pepper...) It is like having your own personnal guide. He also brought us fresh picked bananas every morning. Renata gave us an overview of what it is like to live in Costa Rica. They are full of informations. I loved the design of the Casita and the beautiful shower. The property is quite safe , close to everything. We rented a car but did not need to, the lady and her two young children in the next casita would text a tuk tuk to pick her up when needed, we will do that next time. We walked on the beach to reach a restaurant called Banana Azul also on the beach with resonable prices . The gardens are big, we saw monkeys, agoutis, frogs, armadillos, tucans, a caiman , etc etc. We enjoyed the property so much, there a days we would just sit on the patio, take a walk in the little jungle, jump in the pool and enjoy. Very relaxing . I strongly recommend this property and we will be back hopefully with family.

Liebe Renata, lieber Daniel, vielen vielen Dank für die tollen Tage, die wir bei Euch verbringen durften. Wir haben uns so wohl bei Euch gefühlt. Ihr habt mit ganz viel Liebe, Mühe und Leidenschaft eine so tolle Oase geschaffen. Ein toller Pool und ein liebevoll angelegter Dschungel laden zum verweilen ein.
