Without a doubt the house is beautiful and spacious, and Christelle Pignon and her husband were fine hosts. However, Novasol, the company you have to deal with to set things up and pay are dishonest and incompetent. They gave me an incorrect phone number for the Pignons. I tried
many times through the website, by phone and by text to tell them that there would be 2 of us for the first 2 weeks and 4 of us for the third week. Finally I reached Novasol by phone and told them. They hung up on me and without telling me changed the number of guests from 2 to 4 for the entire stay. As a result Novasol collected French tourist taxes for 12 person/weeks instead of 8, which cost me a considerable extra sum. When I told them about it they suggested I try to recover the money from the French government myself. They had no suggestions on who to contact to do that.
