Villa Sonnenburg and its small guesthouse form a charming and luxurious ensemble in the heart of the forest, yet right in the midst of city life. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the city and the Elbe—especially enchanting in the evening, when the string of lights on the houses across the river comes to life and the small, illuminated ferries cross the Elbe.
The main house can accommodate up to 8 people. The apartment features luxurious furnishings, including antiques, artwork, and high-quality bathrooms. The bedrooms on the lower floor, with their bay windows, offer a relaxing retreat even during the day. The large, luxurious kitchen invites you to cook and chat together. The sitting and TV area on the upper floor allows for “conflict-free” coexistence among guests with very different needs.
The large table in the courtyard is available to guests for outdoor gatherings.
Dogs are not permitted. Villa Sonnenburg and the guest house are located above the town of Bad Schandau in the Rathmannsdorf district. Nestled on an approximately 10,000-square-meter wooded property, their elevated location offers a breathtaking view of Bad Schandau and the Elbe River. A walking path leads down to the town and to the Elbe River.
