We fell in love with Shawneeland because it offers the absolute best of both worlds: total alpine seclusion combined with fantastic community amenities. We are perched 2,000 feet up on the eastern slopes of Great North Mountain, giving the neighborhood a true 'getaway' feel. The scene here is breathtaking—you get sweeping, million-dollar views overlooking the Shenandoah Valley, Signal Knob, and Valley Fort. But what we enjoy most is how much there is to do right in our own backyard. The Shawneeland community features Lake Cherokee with a swimming beach, fantastic fishing spots, playgrounds for the kids, a ball field. It’s a nature lover’s paradise with easy access to hiking, including the Tuscarora Trail. It’s the perfect, peaceful neighborhood to escape the city noise, breathe in the crisp mountain air, and enjoy an authentic Virginia mountain lifestyle.

Buena Vista offers a completely unique 'glamping' experience that blends rugged mountain privacy with beautifully curated modern comforts. Our property is a spacious, fully equipped 1-bedroom 5th-wheel camper securely perched on a notched mountain lot. Because of our south-facing position, you get spectacular, uninterrupted million-dollar views of the valley and ample sunshine. What truly sets this property apart is the total privacy—there are absolutely no neighbors in sight! You can spend your evenings gathered around the giant outdoor stone fire pit having a bonfire, or grilling out under the stars. Inside, you'll find all the comforts of home enhanced with my personal decorating touches, including an island kitchen, air conditioning, and full heating. For the adventurous, the property is just a few hundred yards from direct access to the Tuscarora Trail (which connects to the Appalachian Trail), with a short hike taking you down to a private stream and a PATC shelter. Even the drive up is a scenic adventure, featuring a steep, paved mountain road with switchbacks that elevate you far above the stress of everyday life.
