The peaceful atmosphere invites you to unwind after a day at the beach or exploring Historic Corolla and Four Wheel Drive Beach with Wild Mustangs, Kickback, relax, and enjoy reading a book by the pool or taking a stroll during Sunset at the Whalehead Club which is also a great crabbing spot as well as launch for kyacks.

The Woods Family are beach lovers originally from Long Island, NY now residing in Eastern Virginia. They enjoy sharing their Corolla beach house, Drift-Woods, with other families when they aren't occupying the home. Drift-Woods is the perfect coastal cottage for the beachgoer who is looking for a little peace and relaxation!

Located on the very northern end of the Outer Banks, Corolla is a beautiful vacation destination with plenty of shopping options, outdoor activities, and excellent restaurants. Perhaps best known for a herd of wild horses that reside there, visitors love the beautiful, pristine beaches perfect for swimming, fishing, and building sandcastles. For the history lovers, be sure to stop by Whalehead Club in Historic Corolla for a tour of a 1920’s Art Nouveau-style building that originally served as a luxurious hunting club. Visitors can also climb to the top of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse for a full 360-degree view of the coast. Just down the road, you’ll find the Timbuck II Shopping Village with fun, local shops, and restaurants that border the Currituck Sound. When you’re done shopping, enjoy a delicious dinner with fresh seafood right off the boat from Mike Dianna’s Grill Room or North Banks Restaurant & Raw Bar. For dessert, be sure to stop by Big Buck’s Homemade Ice Cream! No matter what awesome activities you try in Corolla, we know you’ll want to return to Drift-Woods year after year!
