Loved our quick getaway to the lake in this pet friendly home. Private access to the lake with a dock was what we were looking for and this place was great.

We enjoyed our stay at the Coveside Cottage! House was exactly as described on VRBO, very clean and decorated nicely. The hosts were very accommodating and responded promptly. We will be staying here again on our next visit to Lake Lanier!

This was our second time staying in this house. It has everything you need and is very comfortable. The dock is great as we brought our boat as well. Everything was great.

We had a wonderful time at Allison and Stephen's house. It's been nicely updated and well maintained. It was fully stocked with necessities (toilet paper, soap, shampoo/conditioner, detergent, etc.) and included bowls, treats, and a bed for our pup. There were kayaks at the dock and plenty of inner tubes and life vests to go around. It is a little bit of a hike to the water but it's on a beautiful, quiet cove. It was very peaceful and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Beautiful spot on the lake! We enjoyed the dock, easy to use BBQ and outdoor spaces. Our visit was in late August so we could swim off the dock, which has a step ladder. Bring your sneakers, pack a towel and snack-you will want to spend some time there (the walk to the dock is down a hill). I can see how this cottage would be beautiful in the fall (and cozy in the winter) as the lake view from the house will open up beautifully. The hostess was easy to communicate with, check-in super easy, and the house was spotless. We were very comfortable! Even our dog enjoyed the walk to the dock - and there was a patch of green space for him to play outside.

This lake house is a hidden jewel on Lake Lanier! It is very cute and cozy and was absolutely immaculate upon our arrival. It has a large living room and dining area, as well as another sitting area, so there is plenty of room for guests to spread out. All of the bedrooms are spacious, especially the master bedroom. A cute patio sits outside of a side door, and a large deck is easily accessible on the back side of the house. The trail down to the dock is about a two minute walk. The dock itself is on a quiet, deep water cove, and is off the main channel, so it’s protected from the lake traffic. This really made a difference, because our boat wasn't knocked around by wakes from other boats. While we did not use the kayaks, it's a very calm cove to kayak, stand up paddle or float in. The dock is also covered and well shaded and easily accommodated our 22 foot boat. Allison and Stephen were great to work with, and we look forward to staying at this property again in the future.
