Welcome to our cozy vacation home!<br><br>The 100-square-meter building is over 100 years old, has been completely renovated, and is part of a farm where chickens, sheep, and donkeys live. (www.foerstershof.de).<br><br>BeUpon entering, you’ll be greeted by a welcoming hallway that leads directly into the lovingly furnished kitchen. Here you’ll find everything you need to prepare your meals. From here, you can step out onto the terrace, which offers a magnificent view of the garden—perfect for enjoying nature or winding down at the end of the day.<br><br>The living room invites you to linger: It’s cozily furnished with a comfortable sofa and armchairs, ideal for unwinding after an eventful day. Large windows let plenty of light into the room and offer an enchanting view of the greenery, where our friendly sheep and curious donkeys sometimes stop by and create a special atmosphere.<br><br>On the upper floor of our vacation home, you’ll find two beautifully furnished bedrooms (1 double bed 180x200 cm and 2 single beds 90x200 cm) that invite you to unwind and dream. Each room is lovingly designed and offers a cozy retreat for a restful night’s sleep. <br><br>The bathroom is modernly equipped and features a refreshing rain shower that ensures a pleasant showering experience. Here, you can start or end your day feeling refreshed and relaxed. <br><br>In addition, there is another room that’s perfect for peace and relaxation—whether for reading, working, or simply taking some time to yourself.<br><br>But it’s not just comfort and coziness that await you—there are also practical amenities for cycling enthusiasts! A bike shed is available for your bicycles. Here you can store your bikes safely, dry, and conveniently—no matter the weather. This way, your bikes are protected from theft and the elements while you enjoy your stay with us!<br><br>Guests arriving by electric car can charge their vehicles at our wallbox.<br><br>The house is beautifully situated in the countryside, near the Dutch border, and is an excellent starting point for bike tours, hikes, and excursions. <br><br><br>You can enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating stay with us in every season. Whether you’re relaxing in the garden or exploring the region, there are plenty of opportunities for a perfect vacation—alone, as a couple, or with the whole family.<br><br>We live sustainably! <br>We heat our house with a new heat pump, and our solar panel system generates 90% of our annual electricity consumption.<br><br>The town center of Gescher is about 3 km away; here and in the surrounding towns, you’ll find a wide variety of shopping options, cafés, and restaurants.<br>The nearby outdoor pool is just a 1-minute drive or a 3-minute bike ride away.<br><br>Several beautiful bike routes start right nearby, such as the 100 Castles Route, the Hohe Mark Route, the Agri-cultura Route, and the Flamingo Route. Here in the Münsterland region is home to Europe’s northernmost flamingo breeding colony; the more than 50 birds make the tour an extraordinary experience. The Berkel Route runs right past the house.
