Lakefront home with private beach, dock, firepit, & grill - dazzling sunset view

Lakefront living never looked this good! Nestled alongside Flathead Lake, this lovely home boasts a private gravel beach, perfect for wading and swimming, and a large dock to tie up your boat. Directly across the bay, you'll discover a public boat ramp, and just up the road from your stay, you'll find Big Arm Resort which has both a marina and a restaurant. For sailboat rentals, check out Sail In Marina.

When you aren't indulging in the lake's beauty, explore Wild Horse Island State Park, Flathead Lake State Park, or up the road a bit further - the Blacktail Mountain Ski Area.

After a day full of adventure, head back inside your stay where relaxation is inevitable. The water view living room is adorned with ample, soft seating, a large TV, and tasteful mementos of lake life. The home's full kitchen presents a pleasant place to play chef amongst the wooden cabinetry and full suite of appliances. When you aren't sitting down for a meal at the adjacent dining table, play one of the provided board games with your loved ones.

While inside, you'll also discover that the bedrooms are equally comfortable with their plush linens and ample storage space. A private washer/dryer and central air-conditioning round out the interior perks.

A true focal point of the home, get back outside and follow the glow of the twinkle lights to the home's expansive yard space. Here, you can barbecue, roast marshmallows, dine alfresco, and relish dazzling daily views of the sunrises and sunsets as they fall over the lake.

Incredibile lakefront week

Everything about the house was nostalgic and brought so much joy. We never turned on the TV the entire week. There is so much to do and the house is made for entertainment! The neighbors were also very friendly. I would book this house again in a heartbeat.

Glacier Family Wedding

This was a welcome retreat for our family to stay as we came to celebrate our son's wedding in Glacier National Park. Loved finding a place with access to Flathead lake that would allow dogs (one of our dogs didn't want to leave, she loved swimming so much)! It was a perfect place to relax by the lake after our daily adventures! Although we were able to cook at the cabin frequently, we also recommend trying nearby Glacier Brewing Co and the Lazy Bear BBQ in Polson for some relaxed dining or The Mercantile in Kalispell for a wonderful steakhouse experience!

Perfect lake front

House was great , dated but for most part in working order. Kitchen had a few issues with electrical. House had lotta amenities, kayaks, small boats, etc. was told by First manager we weren’t allowed to use them then the local manager text us and they were for our use which made it nice since everything was so far away. Highly recommend this house.

We decided to have a Girl's Trip to Montana and as soon as we saw this house we knew we had to book it. It is literally on Flathead Lake!! You also have the most amazing view of Wild Horse Island. Since we went in October it was to cold to swim but I bet it is amazing in the summer. The house is also convenient to Polson where you can get food to cook or go out to eat. I loved the fact that there is a heater in every bedroom....when you travel with Ms. Freeze you appreciate that. LOLI DEFINITELY recommend staying at this house!!

Perfect house for us

We rented this house to spend time on the lake and it was perfect. We had our 2 water loving dogs and they were in heaven! A good time was had by us humans, cooking in the well equipped kitchen, playing lawn games outside and board games at night. We have rented other houses in other locations and this one exceeded our expectations. The owners are very thoughtful in regards to what is provided for creature comforts. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood in Big Arm, removed from the busy main road. Nice walk to the State Park and it's trails. We did drive up to Glacier National Park, mountain biked in Herron Park and did some gravel biking on local roads. I highly recommend Meadowlark Cabin for anyone who is looking for a relaxing, enjoyable Lake experience.

Great location! The view was beautiful and the beach and pier worked great! The home was perfect for our needs and was stocked well and very clean. Our only complaint is that the neighbors were under construction and started sawing rock at 8 am every day and it lasted until early afternoon. They listened to music or talk radio loud enough for them to hear over the sawing. I was surprised they were allowed to start so early in the am with the noise restrictions. My only other recommendation is to bring a fan with you as the bed rooms can get a bit stuffy if you don’t open the windows at night (which we couldn’t due to the early am construction). If you are looking for a great location, beautiful property, and a clean, well kept home, I would recommend this rental.

Thank you so much for sharing your detailed feedback. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful view, great beach access, and that the home met your needs with cleanliness and thoughtful stocking. Your recommendation means a lot to us. We are truly sorry to hear about the early morning construction noise from the neighbors and how it impacted your stay. We understand how important a peaceful environment is, especially during vacation. Thank you also for the helpful tip about bringing a fan for the bedrooms. We want every guest to be as comfortable as possible, and your insight will be valuable for future visitors. We hope to welcome you back for a quieter and equally wonderful stay.
