Nestled in the Big Sky Mountain community, this home is the perfect base for outdoor enthusiasts. In winter, hit the fresh powder on the Bear Back downhill run right outside your door, or take a short walk to the free skier shuttle for easy access to all the slopes at Big Sky Resort. In summer, enjoy scenic adventures like hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, or take a 60-mile drive to Yellowstone National Park. You're also within walking distance of Lake Levinsky, Big Sky Mountain Village, shops, and restaurants—so you can experience the best of Big Sky without the hassle.

To access the Big Sky Resort Basecamp from Big Horn Condominiums, walk to the nearby Black Bear Poma lift, which will take you to a ski-down path that connects to the base area lifts like Ramcharger and Swifty. The Poma lift starts at 9 am, so if you want to ski earlier, you'll need to drive or walk to the base. To get back to your condo after a day of skiiing, you can ride the lift to a point where you can ski back to your condo. You can also ski the Silver Knife Trail to return directly to the front door of your condo, please be mindful of road traffic as you may have so ski over to road to get to your condo.

The slopes were very accessible with the t bar lift and also a short walk up to the base. The house had all the amenities we needed and the beds were incredibly comfortable! We loved having the firewood too. We would definitely rent the house again.

Wonderful location, great check in/check out process, and nice place. Loved the wood burning fire. Great ski storage after a long day on the slopes. We skied straight to the door, took off our skis and boots, and left everything in the garage. Walked to the lodge for dinner, or a quick drive to town (10 min). It really is the best location.

Big Sky stay

We had a great time, the location is very close to Puma lift and the main village. The host responded quickly and brought us a new coffee maker. Great place , the only thing would be a bigger TV for when you are relaxing. I would recommend this place.

Excellent first time family trip to Big Sky!

Family of 5 (kids 10, 11, and 13) had a great time in Big Sky! Short walk to the poma lift (opens just before 9am), and not long walk to Mountain Village. Plenty of space and well appointed. Definitely check out the winter Snowcoach tour of Yellowstone on your visit…it was amazing! We hope to return.

Great home for a large family!

We enjoyed this home very much. It was clean, maintained and stocked well with all the necessities needed for our week stay. The walking distance to the Poma lift was very doable (even with our 8 year old). The neighborhood was very quiet. We really enjoyed this location and home, would love to stay again!

Awesome Stay!

It was our first time to Big Sky and this home and stay didn’t disappoint. The house was well equipped and had all the amenities during our stay. Check in and check-out was very easy. The house was our home base while visiting Yellowstone as a belated bday present for my son. The drive to Yellowstone is 45 minutes and is very scenic. We will definitely be back!!

Great guys ski trip

We stayed for 4 nights. 8 guys. Perfect spot to walk 30 secs to lift and ski back. 5 min walk to the Village with restaurants, bar, stores, ski rentals, etc. pictures are accurate. We greatly enjoyed our stay

Big Sky Adventure

Enjoyed the skiing and stay at the condo in big sky resort. The only thing is the fireplace probably needs to be cleaned as it was not drying the smoke up effectively.

perfect for our family of 5

Great spot. Great location, well appointed. The kitchen was nice- they even have some pans that aren't teflon coated! Super clean, and room to spread out! We enjoyed ourselves. Wish we could buy the place. As ski team parents, this would be perfect. Definitely walking distance to the lifts.

Solid location for a guys ski trip. The T-Bar makes for an easy and entertaining start to the day depending on your group. The kitchen is well appointed and the house has most everything you’d need for a couple days. The garage is nice to take your gear off without tracking much into the house. Laundry was broken but the host was communicative and fixed it promptly.

Great location, great stay

This condo was in a great area - walkable to the main base. The adults loved the skiing, and we made a fire a couple of nights in the fire place, which was the perfect end to the day. Everything you need in the kitchen, including a small crockpot! Our friends said that the queen beds in the bunks were a little uncomfortable due to the slatting underneath but their kids loved the bunks and slept well. Great for each bedroom to have their own bathroom!

We last stayed at this property in 2019, and quite honestly, it’s gone way downhill in those 6 years. There was laundry left in the dryer, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the microwave didn’t work, the play station didn’t work, and the whole place was just generally run down. It felt more like a stay in an outdated hotel than a stay in a mountain cabin. For what you pay to stay on the mountain, we expected WAY more.

Only rating this a 3 star for a number of reasons. Check in process was easy as expected. House was clean. Pictures are accurate. Location is good. Only about a 5-7 minute walk up the hill to the hotel and dining options.Now for the negatives:1) Property is managed by Vacasa. I literally got 6-7 text messages from them (some of which were spam-esque). A number of them said, "if any issues message us back at this number." I sent numerous messages but no one replied. 2) The microwave did not work. It turned on but did not heat and since no one responded from the rental management company we went without a microwave. Which ended up being okay since we pretty much only slept in the rental. 3) There was no hand soap provided. I feel like hand soap is an essential that should be provided to guests. It is also cheap...4) Only a single garbage bag was provided in the garbage can with no extras to be located anywhere. Though there are clear signs near the entry about how, "guests need to take out the garbage on certain days."5) We travelled in July and house was HOT during the day. One ceiling fan in the main room was fine but other than that we could only find a single working box fan in the house. 6) Bed sheets felt like sandpaper. Worst sheets we've slept in period. Overall place was okay for the price-point, but if you are looking for a relaxing stay where you don't have to go out and buy your own hand soap I would highly recommended choosing another rental.

This was our first trip to Big Sky. We were very pleased with our stay! The property was perfect for our family—clean, beautiful and a great Big Sky vibe. We could easily walk up to the resort or drive down into the village. We could also comfortably relax on property. Gorgeous and highly recommend!
