Longostagno on the Ritten, 970 m above sea level, gained great importance in the 12th century, for in 1177 Emperor Frederick Barbarossa granted Longostagno market rights. In prehistoric times it was a place of Celtic worship, and in 1256 the church dedicated to St. Ottilia was mentioned in a document for the first time. Today it is the ideal starting point for hikes in every season, such as to the earth pyramids and the chestnut path, where you can enjoy a magnificent panorama of the enchanting mountain world of the Dolomites. By car it is halfway between Bolzano and Bressanone, so you can easily reach not only Bolzano, but also Bressanone, Chiusa and Val Pusteria.

The holiday apartment "Vorderschöneck 2", which is situated in Longostagno/Lengstein, overlooks the nearby mountains.

The 75 m² property consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 1 bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed and 1 bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 persons. Accessible by public transport (80 m from the bus that goes to Bolzano every hour) and public parking 80 m away or private parking through the narrow tunnel of the old road, which is now a closed lane. Grocery shop 70 metres away. 15 minutes by car from the Rittner Horn ski slope, which can also be reached by public transport, and 10 minutes from the historic train to the Rittner cable car.
