Providing you with the quintessential Vermont wilderness retreat, Scenic Sourbush overlooks sweeping vistas and is located near a plethora of outdoor recreation! Surrounded by wildflowers and lush greenery, this quaint stay will charm you from the moment you pull up the drive.

Rustic, yet updated, the interior of Sourbush Cottage presents whimsical finishes like vaulted ceilings and gorgeous mountain views. In the open living room, tune into family movie nights. When hunger arises, the well-equipped kitchen presents stainless steel appliances and ample meal prep space. Additional interior perks include a Pack-N-Play, partial air-conditioning, a DVD player, and even a Ping-Pong table.

A true focal point of Sourbush, outside you'll discover a sprawling deck, hammock, kayaks, a canoe, a firepit, and a full playground set. Watch amazing sunsets over Sugarbush Resorts to the west.

Minutes from your stay, enjoy exploring Roxbury State Forest, Northfield Country Club, and for winter recreation, Sugarbush Resort. Mad River Valley amenities offer plenty of fun including a trail network, kayaking, tubing, restaurants, winery, sleigh rides in the winter, local cheese making, and the seasonal Saturday Market. Local grocery and hardware stores provide great convenience. For more enjoyment, you can catch a show at one of the local theatres.

This was the perfect place for a cozy winter getaway for Valentine's Day! Very scenic views, and secluded but still fairly accessible.

We were in the area to attend Norwich University’s Homecoming weekend with our son who is a senior. The location was very convenient to campus. The setting of the cabin is breathtaking as it overlooks Sugarbush. We enjoyed sitting on the large deck and watching the sunset both evenings of our stay. The cabin’s kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. Our group of 5 was very comfortable and enjoyed our stay!

Yes pet friendly but we left our fur baby home. The house was great. Trash was never taken from last renters so it looks like a lot was left from us. House could use more dusting. But other than that. The house/location and stay was great. Would stay there again

Bait and switch. The cover photo shows an old cabin, which is indeed there however it is not accessible. Visitors stay in an adjoining newer house. The basement has a play area, but the air is really stuffy. There’s also a tremendous amount of junk down there and a huge heap of stuff piled up with the a bathroom curtain covering it.Overall, the house had a tremendous amount of dust and was downright messy with the owners belongings. Dust was on every lamp, under all of the beds, even on bookcases and toys. We had an issue with the cleaners, but the property manager was kind enough to refund the cleaning fee.The property owners really need to do a gut cleaning of this place and remove a bunch of things that are really useless and make the place downright sloppy to visitors.The only thing going for this place is that it had an incredible view. It’s better to pitch a tent in the property area rather than being in the house. Not at all worth the money.
