ABOUT THE APARTMENT:

This beautiful maisonette flat is located in a completely renovated historic townhouse dating from 1906. The staircase with its beautiful wooden staircase exudes its historic charm as soon as you enter the house.

On the 3rd floor you enter the large living room, which is flooded with warm light all day long through its floor-to-ceiling windows. The light parquet floor provides additional cosiness. Here you will find a large and comfortable couch, which can also be used as a sofa bed. A large flat-screen TV with Netflix invites you to spend sociable movie nights.

You can make yourself comfortable in a stylish hanging chair fixed to one of the historic roof beams.
The living room also has a large dining table with chairs and a bench that can seat up to 8 people. If you have to work during your stay you can use the practical desk.

From the living room, you can access the spacious and sunny south-facing balcony, from which you can look out over Mering's bustling market square. On a clear day, you can see all the way to the Alps from here.

Next to the living room is the large master bedroom with a 180cm wide double bed. You can store your clothes in an open wardrobe with lots of hanging space. In the large full-length mirror you can examine your choice of clothes at your leisure.

Next to the bedroom is the modern and freshly renovated bathroom in marble look, which has a shower with rain shower head and a wide washbasin with a large mirror.

You can prepare your favourite dishes in the adjoining kitchen. It is equipped with every conceivable convenience, including a dishwasher, coffee machine, freezer, oven with microwave function, induction hob with BORA extractor fan, blender, toaster, electric kettle and much more.

Next to the kitchen the historic staircase will lead you up to the second bedroom. Directly under the roof with a view of the stars, 4 people can sleep here in 2 comfortable double beds (180x200cm).
Two open wardrobes offer enough storage space for your clothes.

For families with babies and small children, we provide a baby cot, a children's travel bed, high chair and a diaper changing station. There is a fall protection at the stairs.


ABOUT THE AREA:

The flat is located directly on the market square in Mering and you can reach the train station in 5 minutes on foot. From there you can travel to Augsburg main station in just 15 minutes and to Munich main station in 25 minutes without changing trains.

By car, you can be in Augsburg and at the trade fair centre in 15-20 minutes. Königsbrunn, Haunstetten and Bobingen are also only 10 minutes away.

There are several restaurants, bakeries, an ice cream parlour, a pharmacy and many shops directly around the house. There are several large supermarkets and discount stores in the nearby commercial area.

From the market square you can take beautiful walks through Mering and its castle park. The registry office and the church are also just a 2-minute walk away.

From Mering you can get to Lake Mandicho, Lake Weitmannsee or the River Lech in just a few minutes by car or bike. Here you can do water sports in summer or go for a wonderful walk at any time of the year.

Lake Ammersee is only 30 minutes away.

The mountains are also easily accessible by car for a day trip. Garmisch is just 1.5 hours away.
