Welcome to Griabig, a cozy little place in the heart of Schwangau.

“Griabig” is a Bavarian word meaning pleasant, comfortable, or wonderfully cozy.

The modern three-room holiday apartment on the second floor is located in a multi-family building in Schwangau that was completed in 2016.

The kitchen and the living and dining area impress with their open-plan design. This allows you to spend time with family while preparing meals—whether they are watching an exciting movie or playing a game together at the cozy corner bench.
The large window front with views of the mountains creates a bright and welcoming living space. From the living room, you can access the balcony with breathtaking views of the mountains and the castles.

A restful night’s sleep is guaranteed in the apartment’s two bedrooms.

In the main bedroom, you can wake up gently kissed by the morning sun and enjoy the magnificent view of the mountain range right from your bed. The room can also be darkened with pleated blinds, and it provides direct access to the balcony.

The second bedroom offers another double bed (180 × 200 cm) for a comfortable night’s sleep. An electric roller blind ensures complete darkness when needed.

After a long day of hiking or cycling, you can relax in the bathrooms adjacent to each bedroom, each equipped with a spacious rain shower. Afterwards, enjoy the fresh Bavarian mountain air on the south-facing balcony, with views of Neuschwanstein Castle and the stunning colors of the evening sun.

A separate WC is located in the entrance area of the apartment.

Your four-legged friends are warmly welcome in this apartment.

Your car and bicycles can be conveniently parked in your complimentary space in the underground garage. From there, you can take the elevator directly to the top floor.

Thanks to the central location, the apartment is an ideal starting point for many activities. Begin your excursions on foot, by bike, or by bus, and later stop by one of the charming cafés or restaurants nearby.
The local bakery and the nearest grocery store are only a 5-minute walk away.

The final cleaning as well as bed linen and towels are included in the total price. If you stay with us for more than ten nights, you may request a complimentary change of towels and bed linen. Please arrange an appointment with us for this service.
