A short drive takes you to the center of Vinstra, where you will find stores, restaurants and a cinema. At the beginning of August, every year the Peer Gynt poll takes place. This is a cultural festival where you can experience Norwegian music and theater, and it is absolutely worth a visit.

In winter it is only 100 meters to great skiing conditions and groomed slopes.
