Saanan lumous by Interhome

Saanan Lumous is located in the enchanting village of Kilpisjärvi. The landscape is dominated by clear mountain lakes and Finland's highest peaks. The most famous of these mountains is the majestic Saana, at the foot of which the village is situated.

Saanan Lumous is a warm and well-equipped cabin. From the large windows of this beautiful cabin, you can enjoy the expansive mountain views of Ala-Kilpisjärvi while relaxing by the warmth of the fireplace. The windows are heated, ensuring they remain clear even in the harshest winter weather.

The cabin is situated 430 km northwest of Rovaniemi, 170 km from the center of Enontekiö, and just 90 m from the shores of Ala-Kilpisjärvi, although it does not have its own beach, as the access road is between the beach and the cabin.

This wooden cabin was completed in 2022. It includes a combined kitchen/living room, one bedroom with two separate motorized beds and a 50" TV, a second bedroom with a bunk bed, a sauna, a bathroom/WC, a covered terrace, and a small storage room.

Please note: There is a charging station for electric and hybrid vehicles, which must be booked in advance (select the electric vehicle charging option and specify how many times you wish to charge during your stay). Charging is available from 10 PM to 10 AM, at a cost of €26 per charging session.

During the summer season (starting May 2023), two bicycles (one fat bike) are available for guests. The bicycles can be arranged for use by contacting the owner (contact details are provided in the booking confirmation). The bicycles are shared with another cabin (16755 Saanan Helm).

Bringing a hot tub to the cabin's yard is prohibited. The cabin's yard and the cabin itself are monitored by surveillance cameras. The cameras are active only when there are no guests present.
