On cooler evenings, make yourself comfortable in the living room, which also has a fireplace. Huenning is located directly on the Treene, which shapes the area with its widely branched arms. Not far away begins the Schlei, that breathtaking arm of the sea that stretches with its small towns on the shore to the Baltic Sea. The region is ideal for undertaking varied tours every day. The beaches of the Baltic Sea and the Wadden Sea of the North Sea are each only about 30 km away. From here you can even reach and explore the neighboring country of Denmark. There is a lot of culture to discover in the surrounding cities of Flensburg, Schleswig, Husum and Friedrichstadt, and leisure parks, animal parks, indoor and outdoor pools that are within easy reach promise varied and relaxing holidays with the whole family.
