Located in Serpentona, the holiday home Villa Lidia offers guests a fantastic view of the sea.

The 90 m² property consists of a living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms as well as 2 additional toilets and can therefore accommodate 5 people. Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi suitable for video calls, a TV, a fan as well as a washing machine. A baby cot and a high chair are also available.

The holiday home boasts a private outdoor area with a pool, a garden, an open terrace, 2 balconies, a barbecue and an outdoor shower.

This property is ideal for hiking lovers, as it is located near several spectacular virgin beaches such as Macarella, Calan Turqueta, Es Talaier, Son Saura, Trebaluger and Cala Fustam.

A Holiday to Remember !

What an amazing property ! My friend and I are regular visitors to the beautiful resort of Cala Galdana..but this was our first time at Villa Lydia. What a find ! fabulous location, immaculately clean and welcoming home that had every amenity you could wish for. The pool was an added bonus..clean and refreshing for hot afternoons sitting on the terrace...we loved it and will definately be making a return visit. Toujours plaisante cette jolie Cala Galdana

Nous avons passé en famille un séjour fort agréable à Cala Galdana que nous connaissions déjà. Les hôtes sont très accueillants, sympathiques et discrets. Une maison confortable, avec une jolie piscine (nous n’en avons pas beaucoup profité car nous avons visité les autres plages et l’île) et surtout une magnifique vue sur la Cala des deux petits balcons de la maison. Nous y retournerons certainement. Merci beaucoup à Maria et Gabriel.

Lovely stay at Villa Lidia

We have really enjoyed our stay. The villa is fantastic. Good location, very comfortable and a fantastic outside pool space that makrs the most of the beautiful Menorcan weather. Great Villa, great hosts

We had a very enjoyable stay at this good value villa. Great pool which kids loved and great location for an increasingly busy Cala Galdana. Gabriel and Maria are excellent hosts, close at hand to help but respectful of their guests privacy. We were very happy to have found Villa Lidia and appreciated the large amount of well-cared for outside space. It will definitely be an option for future visits to Menorca.

What a Find!

We have just returned from a ten night stay at Villa Lidia. To start with the photos do not do the place justice, it is far nicer that it appears on screen! It was comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything that you could have wished for in a self catering accommodation. The views from the terraces were lovely and its elevated position meant that we enjoyed cool breezes. We did not miss air conditioning. The pool was perfect and better for being salt water. Our two year old is now nearly swimming. She loved it! Lastly, Maria and Gabriel were very welcoming and helpful. We could not have hopped for better hosts! Villa Lidia, we shall return!

Fabulous villa with large pool and cracking views

Having been to stay in many villas in CG, this is one of the best. There are great views from the terraces and balconies. The outside terraces provide plenty of spaces to relax. The villa itself is clean, comfortable and secure. Gabriel and Maria were very helpful. Prepare yourself for ‘cardiac hill’, but if you didn’t have that you wouldn’t have the views. Also, look out for the tortoises in the garden! Thank you to Maria and Gabriel, we had a brilliant time.

Great villa for a family

The villa was great for our needs and lived up to the photos/description online. Gabriel and Maria were really helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The location was great and the pool area is such a great place for all the family to relax in!

Very nice house and in a good location. Maria very friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. Pool was nice to have and house had everything that we needed and was clean and well presented. Would definitly consider staying again if we make another trip to Menorca.

Ideal for a family of 5

We normally holiday with friends of ours but this year they were not able to join us so we needed a place that accommodated just us as a family with three young children. Villa Lidia was ideal for us with a nice sized double room opening out onto the top terrace (with lovely views out over the gorge and down into the bay), as well as the twin and single rooms for the kids - all rooms have good storage in newly fitted wardrobes etc. The kitchen is really well stocked with everything you would expect and more for a rental property and the lounge also opens nicely out onto the bottom terrace, looking out over the views and down onto the pool area. The pool was brilliant for the kids and it was nice that it was fresh water, it was very clean and crystal clear. The area around the pool got beautiful sunshine all day as it has a great position on the curve of the hillside. Maria and Gabriel were extremely kind and welcoming, and very helpful though they very much leave you to yourselves to enjoy your holiday. We would definitely recommend Villa Lidia and we hope to stay again soon!

Lovely villa

We had a fantastic stay at this villa. We really couldn't ask for more! The pool area is fantastic and the villa had everything we could need! We were a family of 4 adults and 2 small children and the villa suited us perfectly! The location was also great! The owners are very friendly, helpful and very welcoming! We hope to return next year! Highly recommended!

A great villa in a beautiful setting

Stayed at the Villa with our Son, Daughter in Law and grandchildren and had a truly wonderful time. The villa was spotless and had everything you needed for a holiday - the grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the pool (as did we) and the villa had really good access to the beach and shops. Perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday - simple, spacious, well equipped & exceptionally clean

The week was just what we hoped it would be and the villa was a very good choice. We found Gabriel and Maria very helpful and friendly, but not at all intrusive. The villa was spotlessly clean, and is well positioned in relation to the main touristy part of Cala Galdana (less than 10 minutes walk) but far enough away not to be bothered by the music from the two main hotels. A degree of fitness is needed for the fairly steep walk back to the villa. The outside area and pool is excellent, with a lovely view and a degree of welcome breeze. The kitchen has been recently modernised and is very well equipped. The lounge and furniture is a little dated and tired, and would benefit from the same treatment as the kitchen. The upstairs is perfectly adequate, with one double room, a twin and one single. We found the double bed very comfortable, and there's an excellent shower. There are some lovely walks on either side of the resort, leading to a number of beautiful sandy coves close by.

Fantastic villa with an amazing view

What a wonderful villa and the owners Gabriel and Marie are wonderful. The villa is very well equipped with a lovely kitchen which has everything you could need including a fantastic set of pots, pans and knifes and a toaster, which from my experiences is a first in a rental property and was much appreciated by us as we eat in often. All the rooms are of a good sized and nicely furnished. There is WiFi, which with a teenager kept her connected to her friends. There are three different outdoor table and chairs area and 6 loungers. The pool is amazing so clean and a really good size. My two sons were in it within 10 minutes of arriving. It's the views that are so amazing waking up and stepping out onto the bedroom balcony and you see the sea with the boats anchored in the beautiful Cala Galdana bay in one direction and the beautiful cliffs covered in a mixture of flora and fauna. I felt an amazing sense of calm waking up to this daily. The villa is a 5 minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and bars of the resorts ,though the walk back uphill may have you panting. There are several mini supermarkets in the resort which are well stocked and at least one has a small bakery section where you can get fresh croissants, sticks and cakes, you pay more here than in a big supermarket but that's no surprise. We liked going to Mercadona, just outside Ciutedella, which is a large supermarket which has a fantastic selection at good price, really recommend the Tuna empanada and the chocolate ring donuts. Parking for the villa is on the one way road, my advice is sometimes you might have to park up the hill a little, we had a good wander round and just 3 minutes up the hill there are a couple of kids play areas under the trees. We have been home for 3 days now and I wish I was back there.

A wonderful holiday, in a beautiful villa.

Just spent a wonderful 2 weeks in this beautiful villa. On arrival we were met by Maria (the wife of Gabriel), who made us feel very welcome. After showing us around the villa she then left us to explore for ourselves.Although the owners live next door they let you get on with your holiday,but are very helpful if you need to know or want anything, nothing seems too much trouble for them. The villa is spacious, very clean and very well equipped. The location is good and provides overviews of Cala Galdana. In the patio areas outside the villa there are plenty of places to relax whether you want to be in the sun or the shade. The pool is a good size, with plenty of loungers,parasols and seating. We have stayed in many places in Cala Galdana over the years and this has got to be the best, we had such a good holiday we hope to return to this villa again. Would we recommend...... certainly. Would we stay again..... definitely, cannot wait to return. Thank you Gabriel & Maria for such a wonderful stay.

Excellent well looked after villa.

Having booked this property on the back of the other reviews I can honestly say we were not disappointed with the villa. We had arranged to be picked up by Gabriel the owner at the airport and he took us directly to the villa. Having shown us briefly around the villa he left us to settle in. As stated in other reviews the owners live next door but they leave you to yourselves which was ideal. The villa was as described, clean and tidy and everything we wanted. The kitchen was obviously quite new and was well equipped. There is no air conditioning but fans were supplied in all rooms which were fine for us. The biggest bonus was the pool which is a good size and kept 2 adults and 2 children fully entertained. There is plenty of seating and loungers around the villa so no problems there. The centre of Cala galdana is a walk down the hill which only takes a couple of minutes to reach and the lovely beach is only a few minutes further. There are a few bars and restaurants around which were not overly busy but it was still school time and the pricing was cheaper than we expected. Overall a great holiday we only wish we had stayed longer. We would definitely recommend this villa to friends and family and will look at returning next year.

Better than ever!

We have just returned from our third stay at Villa Lidia and have already booked again for next year. Since last year Maria and Gabriel have had a new bathroom installed and have plans for further improvements for next year even though the villa is absolutely fine as it is! Maria and Gabriel are the perfect hosts, always available if you need them but never intrusive. Galdana is a perfect centre for exploring everywhere on the island but also you could happily spend a week there without a car as there are plenty of brilliant beaches within walking distance via the Cami de Cavallis. There are also enough very good and reasonably priced restaurants to visit a different one every night.

Best holiday yet

What an amazing time me and my husband had at Villa Lidia. A BIG THANK YOU to Maria the owner for making our holiday on Menorca the best ever. Maria you are one king generous lady and I hope we can stay at your villa some time next year. The views from the balcony are something out of a film set and when we were there it was so quiet and peaceful and the weather was amazing just what the doctor ordered. Thank you again Maria hope to see you again next year.

Fantastic!

We have just come back from our holiday in Menorca staying at Villa Lidia. We are a family of 4 & our 2 boys are aged 16 & 11. We have had a great time & much of it due to the fact that we all thought the villa was fantastic as it suited our needs perfectly. It was extremely clean & spacious - having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. Fans in each of the bedrooms meant we could sleep comfortably. The kitchen was very well equipped. The pool was great & there were plenty of loungers, chairs & tables for us all to use. Having a sea view was wonderful! There are plenty of good restaurants only a few minutes walk from the villa. Cala Mitjana was our favourite. Gabriel & Maria are a lovely couple & made us feel very welcome. They were very helpful with anything we asked or needed. Maria gave us clean bedding & towels half way through our stay. We would recommend this villa to families with children especially because of the private pool. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked it again for summer 2015!

excellent

Second year we have stayed in June. Love the Villa and outside spaces and view as mentioned in other reviews. The kitchen has been vastly improved. We self-cater and found it OK the first time but very much improved the second it having been refurbished. Maria very helpful and very reassuring that should there be issues (which there weren't) more than willing to help. Fresh towels provided halfway through week which was one of many nice touches.
