Villa Casa Aggi in Lagos on Meia Praia beach, for up to 8 adults, 1 infant

A detached, luxurious villa with private saltwater pool, alarm system, air conditioning and central heating throughout.
Situated in a small, popular residential area on Meia Praia beach. The harbour and the town of Lagos, with its cosy streets, numerous restaurants and bars, are only a few kilometres away.
The villa is yours for the duration of your stay!

★ approx. 3 minutes to Meia Praia beach

ℹ SEF REQUIREMENTS All property owners in Portugal are required by law to report information about tourists and guests to the Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (SEF for short). In order to fulfil the legal requirements, we ask you for your personal data one week before arrival. This is a mandatory requirement.

The villa is tastefully furnished to a high standard.
1st floor: a kitchen and an open-plan living/dining room, guest WC and a terrace with distant views.
Ground floor: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 office.
Studio/basement: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an open-plan living/kitchen/dining area with sofa and TV.
W-LAN is available free of charge throughout the house.

Studio
In the house, via the internal staircase or via the external garden stairs, you reach the approx. 95 m² studio in the basement. The studio consists of two bedrooms, a shower room and a combined living/dining room with kitchenette and TV corner with sofa.
The modern shower room in the studio is also equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer in addition to the 1st floor.
The combined living/dining room is equipped with a well-equipped kitchenette with oven, electric hob, fridge and dishwasher. The dining table is extendable.

1st Floor
A spacious living room is located on the upper floor and can be reached via the marble staircase on the inside or via the spiral staircase on the outside. Sliding doors to the left and right of the fireplace lead to the terrace with views of the outdoor pool, the neighbouring gardens and into the distance. In the evening, you can also watch a herd of goats, sheep and cows crossing the road.

There is also a fully equipped kitchen on the upper floor.
(dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and all the usual kitchen and cooking utensils). Separately there is a guest WC and a multi-purpose room with washing machine, tumble dryer and a freezer.
Outdoor area:
heated outdoor pool approx. 4.5 x 8.5 m for a fee, brick barbecue, outdoor kitchen with gas barbecue, barbecue terrace with table and 8 chairs, covered terrace and relaxation areas with 8 sun loungers around the pool, for the whole family.

The holiday home is located on the hill above Meia Praia. The marina can be reached in 8 minutes by car and offers numerous and varied shops, cafés and restaurants. The old town of Lagos can be easily reached via a pedestrian bridge in the marina. The old town with its cobbled footpaths and colourful market square, with a wide selection of restaurants, bars, cafés, shops and markets. The golden sandy beach of Meia Praia, which offers many water sports, is a 4-minute drive or 20-minute walk away. The Palmares, Boa Vista and Penina golf courses are a 5-15 minute drive away. Children will love the numerous water parks, as well as other theme parks, which are only a 30-minute drive away.

We enjoyed the property very much. Barbara was very attentive and responded quickly to questions we had while there. Only issue was it stated a hot tub in the online listing which did not exist & it took a few days to get the heated pool working.

Fantastic Lagos Vacation

We stayed here at Casa Aggi in Lagos. The house was perfect for our group of 3 couples. The property is a beautiful well maintained home with all the amenities you would need. Barbara the owner was always fast responding to our questions and needs, and Nelia the property manager was great as well. We would highly recommend this house to anyone staying in Lagos.

Location and Accommodation at its best!

Spent a week in this lovely home known as Casa Aggi. There were 6 adults with lots of room for everyone. We enjoyed all their amenities including the heated pool and BBQ. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need and the home is spotless. The proximity to the beach made for a perfect walk each day to enjoy the large sandy beach and ocean. A short drive into town for groceries, fish market, shopping made this the best location. Barbara was the perfect host with excellent communication from beginning to end. Nelly was also a great help as the villa manager always making sure we had what was needed during our stay. I would not hesitate to return to this spectacular home, it truly is a gem!

Villa in Lagos

We had an excellent stay in Lagos! The villa was magnificent with a lot of space and all the things you need to feel as if we were right at home! It was very clean and the location was good but we did need a car to get to most beaches and to the old town! There is a path right next to the villa which was very convenient, we walked to the nearest beach which took about 20 minutes! Overall we were extremely happy with our stay and would recommend to families as we had our baby with us and we were extremely comfortable in the basement which acted as an apartment with its own kitchen, bathroom, living room, etc. Also Barbara was extremely helpful and answered our questions very quickly!

Great villa close to beach and town

A very well equipped villa with good quality equipment, towels and linen. The whole property is well cared for and immaculately clean. Ideally you need a car to get around with the beach and town a few minutes drive away. The basement obviously has no windows making it a bit dark but it is extremely spacious. The pool area gets sun for most of the day but has areas of shade if the sun is too hot. The tiling around the pool can be slippy when wet so extra care is needed when walking around it. We had a very enjoyable stay and thank Barbara for the use of her villa and her quick and helpful response to all communication.

Fordham Family Algarve Vacation

An imposing and immaculate property inside and out with tasteful and appropriate furnishings and very comfortable accommodations for all my family. A beautiful salt water pool and garden kitchen was the centerpiece for our family, and Living here for three weeks was just like being in our own houses in the USA, but in a great location in the Algarve. The convenience to all amenities, beach, shops and grocery stores was a very important part of our plans and this property did not disappoint. The owner Barbara went out of her way to ensure we had all the information we needed to hit the road running, and as soon we arrived we already felt like we knew the area inside out. Barbara even went to the trouble or ordering rental cars for our visit and taxis to and from the airport I booked this vacation 25 years after I last visited the Algarve with my children, and to able to share it again with them now grown and with children of their own in such a setting was just unforgettable. Highly recommended at all levels

Oasis in Lagos

We had a great time! The house is really nice, very comfortable, very clean, very well equipped, with nice beds, nice furniture and all the kitchen appliances one may need even for a long stay. The outdoor area around the pool and barbecue is amazing and we spent most of our time there. Ask to heat the pool, as the water would have been very cold when we were there in late June. Everything works well and the one issue we had with lack of hot water one day was dealt with very quickly and also fixed the same day. Both the owner and local manager were very responsive throughout the entire process of renting and staying in the place. It’s just a short drive to Lagos downtown and the neighbourhood is very nice and pleasant to go for a walk. Just be aware of the way the house is set up, with the kitchen and dining/living room in the second floor, and bedrooms in the main floor and basement, so whoever is staying in the basement really has a lot of up and downstairs to do, so plan not to use the basement rooms for grandparents or very young kids that will need supervision up and down the stairs!

Absolutely perfect

From the initial engagement with Barbara the property owner she was informative, friendly and welcoming. A pleasure to deal with. She extended personal kindness to us, a gesture that I will never forget. A visit to a place we have never been comes with apprehension, we needn’t of worried, the house was large, clean and beautifully presented. Pool area was awesome and enjoyed by all. The photos really only give an idea of how perfect it was. We wouldn’t have a difficulty in recommending this property to anyone, suits all ages, Even two family groups. We will definitely be returning again in the future.

Fabulous Villa

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful villa. The villa so so chic and has luxurious fixtures and is decorated so beautifully. Everything you need and more is there! There are beautiful plates and glasses, an outside kitchen and wonderful pool area. The pool are also has plenty of sun beds and a box with lilos, buckets spades and bats. The bedrooms have very comfortable beds and lovely linen and fresh smelling towels. Each bathroom had a hair dryer but the bonus for me was the diffuser as I have curly hair!! Thank you you never get a diffuser not even in a hotel! The whole place was spotless. The hotel near by has a great snack bar and lovely pool. Taxis are easy to book via uber and are cheap and it only takes about 10 mins to get to Lagos. We would highly recommend this beautiful villa.

A slice of paradise!

Casa Aggi was extremely beautiful. It had lots of space, light and all the amenities needed to relax. The balcony was my favorite place to grab a cup of tea and overlook the city early in the morning. The pool and lounging area were also a great place to unwind and create memories with family and friends. It is a close ride to downtown marina and also reasonably distanced from the beach. All in all, it made our trip to the Algarve - and our first time in Lagos the most positive experience I have ever had. Obrigada!

5 days in the sun

I must say we had a lovely time in Lagos, the villa was everything and more as described, the pool are was lovely and more than big enough for everyone to sit and lay around. The villa it’s self was lovely and clean with a great terrace over looking the pool area, lovely lounge area which we didn’t really use as most of the time we sat on the terrace. It was about 10 minutes in a cab to the beach, town or supermarket which was €10 for an 8 seater, Communication with the owner was excellent any questions we had where very quickly answered. If we return to the area we will definitely stay again Highly recommend

Perfect holiday home

Cassa Aggi was a perfect holiday home for the family. We made good use of the downstairs 'annexe' as well as the lovely pool and the outdoor kitchen area. We thoroughly enjoyed the balcony for our evening meals - a great view!!

A place you will struggle to leave

We spent 16 nights at the beautiful villa celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary with our daughter and her partner. There was a bottle of wine to welcome us to the villa which was a lovely touch. The accommodation was clean beautifully and very tastefully decorated to a very high standard, with attractive ornaments and pictures surrounding the villa. The kitchen was well stocked and has everything you need and more. The pool and gardens are a lovely place to swim and relax, this is where we spent most of our time, we stayed in August and did not feel the need to have the pool heated. The self-contained accommodation down stairs was another beautiful area of the villa and was a huge hit with our daughter and her partner. We had many BBQ’s during our stay, the outside kitchen was just wonderful and contained everything you needed, apart from the food and wine which was the only thing you needed to transport down stairs. Destino restaurant a short walk away from the villa and is a hidden gem and was one of our daughter and her partner’s favourite places for food and drinks. It was lovely to meet Nelia (manager) she was very helpful and gave us some good information about the surrounding areas and activities, it was a great comfort to us knowing Nelia was on hand if we needed any help or direction during our stay. Barbara (owner) was wonderful her communication was excellent from the very first enquiry, during our stay and after, Barbara provided a very high standard of customer service, thank you for making everything easy for us. We could not have picked a more beautiful place to stay, the moment you walk in you know it’s a special place. Villa Casa Aggi is a most stunning villa and has everything you need for a perfect stay.

A fantastic stay at an impressive villa.

Our family including children 6 and 8 and my parents stayed at this villa for 7 nights at end of July. The villa has the wow factor as soon as you walk in. The amount of things the owner has thought about to ensure you have a good stay is phenomenal. We particularly enjoyed the jar of local honey in the kitchen and the bottle of red which greeted us. The villa is beautifully decorated. You do need to plan though as the villa is over 3 floors and so we had to remember to put the beers in the fridge outside to avoid us going up and down stairs constantly. The only issue was that we did not have the pool heated. The children did not care but it was a bit bracing when you got in. By the time we got around to asking Nelia the housekeeper about heating the pool it would have taken too long to heat as it only became an issue at the end of the holiday. Putting that aside we had a fabulous time and the owner Barbara’s communication was first class. We love the area the villa is in as it’s our second time we have stayed in that area. We would not hesitate to return.

A wonderful holiday for all of the family

We are a large family of eight including a baby. The house suited everyone's needs. We had space, excellent facilities and Barbara and Nelia were on hand to answer any queries at any time. The self contained flat at the bottom of the house answered all of our needs when catering for a young family with their baby. They had their own fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge and bathroom including dish washer and washing machine! The house was spotless and all furnishings were of a high standard. The villa is situated in a quiet road which suited us as we spent a lot of time watching the birds. The pool was clean and we made the choice to have it heated which in hindsight was a wise decision as it might have been too cold for a young child. The outside kitchen, furniture and bbq were fantastic and allowed for al fresco dining with ease. Overall, we all had a brilliant time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you Barbara and Nelia.

We , an adult family of 6 and avid travellers have stayed in many vrbo and other vacation rentals and all I can say is this one was up at the top with only 2 others ( Bali and Palermo) this villa was clean , large, local convenient and stocked with everything anyone would need. The pictures are spot on and within this newer villa complex this home had the best back yard set up of all, by far. Pool was great, BBQ and Grill oven were parts of an outdoor kitchen with fridge and sink . Too much to tell, you have to experience. The owner Barbara and her onsight mgr. Nadia (and family)were excellent from pool cleaning , landscaping , massage to booking restaurants and activities they were always available. This location is just out of Lagos but an easy walk to the beach , and a car is more fun as you want to see more of Algarve. You will not be dissapointed booking this villa and we hope to be back soon.

This villa is immaculate throughout.

Very happy to recommend Casa Aggi. It is large, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Pool and balcony are south facing. It is also on three floor levels and the basement level also doubles up as a self contained two-bed apartment as well if required. The villa is 10 minutes drive away from Lagos center. The owner was very attentive and the maintenance team were very helpful and speak excellent English. .

First class Customer service, exclusive accommodation, fantastic location, something for everyone.

My family and I (six adults and a baby) stayed at Casa Aggi for two weeks commencing 20th September 2018. The property was exactly as advertised; top quality furnishings, lovey pool, nice size BBQ area, spacious bedrooms and living area and the whole of the property was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed walking around the local town and harbour of Lagos both have excellent places to eat. Sunbathing on the immaculate beach of Meia Praia is a must. Both Meia Praia and Lagos are within easy walking distance of the villa. Spending time around the villa pool is just so relaxing. We also spent some time at the close by top surfing beach of Sagres, a truly exhilarating experience. Barbara and Nelia provide an exceptional high standard of customer service. Everything was perfect and we will defiantly be visiting again, Thank you Barbara and Nelia, Best Regards Eric

Beautiful Property

Lovely property immaculately clean. A little way out of Lagos but at the best end of the beach, about a 15 minute walk away. Lagos centre is around a 30 minute walk. Pool and gardens are a lovely place to relax.
